Warning. It's obvious nearly all the comments at the time of writing are dated - there's a date stamp next to them, but much of the commenters' advice is also out of date - heck, it's even got a post from TheFu. Stick to what Whitson says in the post and take the comments with a pinch of salt.

It does work quite well in reality. Better than swiftkey at guessing which word you meant. Where it does appear to fall down unless I've missed something is when you try to insert a character into an existing string.
