Yeah, I still like the Waters period best, but Syd’s stuff and the immediate post-Syd period has really grown on me, and I am more likely to relisten to that material than I am The Wall.

I love, love, love Pink Floyd, like listened to DSOTM twice a day for 6 months loved Pink Floyd, but I sort of burnt myself out on The Wall too. I listened to it earlier this year for the first time in awhile and enjoyed it, but Animals is their album that I still revisit the most. Have never gotten tired of it yet!
This was me too. I burnt myself out on Led Zeppelin as a teen but then revisited them a couple of years ago and was pleasantly surprised what a 10 year break did for me. Really enjoyed revisiting them, but I’m still more likely to relisten to Plant’s solo work.
This is what I am hoping for. *fingers crossed*
That actually makes a lot of sense—thank you!
Ccongratulations! I've always enjoyed reading your comments and following the progress of your documentary over the years. :)
I’ve seen him refer to himself that way in photocopies of his old journals in the documentary Montage of Heck.
I just looked that up. Thanks for the best laugh I’ve had all day!
Bahahaha Fair enough. Truthfully, I got interested in Canadian history from a combo of helping my Louisiana Cajun stepmom with her genealogy and my love for true crime cases. You Canadians have some truly weird-ass true crime. (I say that with affection.) LOL
That’s kind of what I was thinking. Am not Canadian but interested in Canadian history. I’ve read that the original pool of French-Canadian settlers was very small, so if you have French ancestry tracing back to the early days of Canada, as Bieber, Lavigne, and Gosling do, it’s not surprising they are distantly…
I would say the truth is in the middle. I liked this album a lot more than the reviewer did (definitely one of my favorite of the year), but I wouldn’t consider LDR one of the greatest living songwriters. In fact, I kind of got bored with her shtick a few years ago. Still, I've listened to Norman Fucking Rockwell on…
I’ve been listening to it on repeat since yesterday, and it is excellent. I got a little burned out with Lana a few years ago and hadn’t been following her work for awhile. Glad I gave this one a chance. Listening to “Venice Bitch” as I type this, actually.
Wow. I have read some about her, but that is one of the most bonkers celebrity profile pieces I’ve ever read. I lack words for it, really.
I recently watched the first few seasons of Just Shoot Me. Went into it not liking Spade at all, but I ended up enjoying his performance as Dennis. He was an awful little shit with brief moments of redemptive promise, but that was kind of the point.
Bahahaha I’ve not seen that. I’m both intrigued and too scared to investigate. :D
This might be miscasting. I refuse to believe Rooker is a candy ass.
That’s the main reason I stopped watching after season 1. I thought Jesse was an obnoxious shit but without any of the charisma or brilliance or fun of other obnoxious shit main characters I’ve enjoyed over the years.
For real. I like Martin, but I feel like he’s been in denial about this for years. He writes and publishes other things, which is his right, but I think he lost interest in this damn series years ago. Maybe now that the show is over, he’s hoping people will stop asking him about the ending, so he can continue to…
I was a Kristy with some Mary Anne traits who wanted to be a Claudia.
She was my favorite, too!
