Not only is he obviously Sinatra’s kid, but he’s also a hell of a lot better looking (in my opinion).

Thanks I do have that enabled, and it improves it quite a bit.

That is a bizarrely wonderful gif. I can’t look away!

Okay, I tried to give Kinja a fair shot, but this system is just not functional. AV Club, it was once fun, but I don’t think I will be back.

Just testing to see if I can comment since apparently any number of comments makes it impossible to use the comment section.

So, our comments didn’t actually port over? All of my comments are still on my Disqus account. I guess I claimed it because I didn’t have to upload my profile picture again, but it seems like none of my comments were saved. Does that come later? I’m confused. I also don’t like this layout at all.

Thank you so much! I'm probably not going to participate in the comments anymore after the changeover, but I was afraid that the comments sections for old reviews, which I love to read years after the fact, would be an unreadable mess. Don't think that will be a concern anymore. I wish I had more than one upvote to

It was a little over 90% here, but the sky didn't darken as much as we thought it would. Still, my boss let me and my coworkers stand in the parking lot and share the one pair of eclipse glasses we had. (Nobody planned ahead except for one guy.) I'm looking forward to the next one in 2024—it's supposed to be 99% here!

As I mentioned to someone else on this thread, I think when he was playing lunatics that he wasn't acting. That was just a normal day in the life of Sonny Landham that happened to be filmed.

I always got the impression when he was playing a lunatic in movies that he wasn't acting. They were just basically filming him being his regular unhinged self.

I had wondered that.

Oh okay! I just missed them then.

I saw that yesterday and was surprised that there hadn't been a Newswire yet or anyone chatting about it in the comments. Thanks for posting it!

I didn't put it on my list, but The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford would easily make my Top 10. Just an impeccable film (and a great book!)

No order:
Tombstone
A Serious Man
The Man Who Wasn't There
Goodfellas
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

Homer Stokes was much more articulate. He also used some really bigly words.

The bus I used to ride would cure you of that wish real quick.

In the early 1990s, my mother freaked out when she realized I was left-handed and did her best to switch me. So, I write and eat with American silverware right-handed but do virtually everything else (including eating with chopsticks) left-handed. I'm really quite incompetent with my right hand. It pisses me off that

Or Nerdherder is Roman!

Agreed. I found it telling that in his very short tenure at the White House, he'd talk about how he was going to avoid the media and then hours later, he'd be on television shooting his mouth off. My Chihuahua has more discipline (and sense).
