Yes it was so ridiculous! I don't mind if people disagree with me. I actually love debating and chatting with people with different viewpoints, but they were obviously not interested in anything resembling civil discourse.

As a general rule, it's not ever something I'd do, too, because I usually like reading what everybody says, even if I disagree with them.

I also don't get why the show sometimes got labeled as cynical. It was definitely dark and even bleak at times, but I watch and enjoy a lot of cynical stuff, and I never considered Person of Interest one of those shows. I think one of the things I loved most about it was, as you said, it's ability to deal with issues

Yeah, it's not Citizen Kane by any means, but it's a lot of fun, is well made, and is surprisingly moving in its own way. I like all of the leads and rewatch it every now and then.

I loved Boardwalk Empire, but I'm still bitter about the whole skipping over Arnold Rothstein's demise aspect of the last season.

Me too! I love watching Fusco kick ass and take names.

Haha That's awesome!

One can also enjoy naked Cannavale in Boardwalk Empire. ;)

I really need to rewatch season 1! I've been wanting to for awhile now. When I do, I'll have to pay attention to when the knee shooting starts.

That's true!

My dad stopped watching the show in season 2 specifically because the knee shooting got on his nerves. I always thought it was weirdly charming, but after he told me that, every time a knee was shot, I would start giggling.

Oh you're right that the message about inhuman machines is the main takeaway, but as an antisocial loner, my favorite part was watching antisocial loners develop oddball friendships. :)

if that missle had knees Reese would have shot the shit out of them for old times sake.

I was a wreck too! I don't usually cry, but that last thirty minutes just destroyed me!

Thanks for another awesome review, LaToya! I hadn't read any of your reviews before you picked up the POI gig, but I loved reading your analysis. I hope you get assigned to cover other shows I watch. :)

Yes I was so shocked the first time I heard Dockery speak during an interview!

You just don't see their stuff anymore. If you're cruising through the comment section and see anything from them, you can't see what they say—just a note that someone you blocked posted a comment.

You go to the little arrow thing that appears on the right of someone's name whenever you hover over said name. One of the options is block user. :)

I chuckled about your name for your cousin! I introduced my grandma to the show, and now when we think the other one is being a martyr about something, we say, "Stop being a Bates!"

I doubt anyone associated with the site will say anything. Another commenter and I used the comments on another post to trade movie quotes for over a week and nobody made us stop. :)
