What shocked me too was other cast members finding out about it from the media and complaining about it on Twitter. There's definitely something going on. I read an article claiming it was cost-cutting, but I think there's something more going on than just trying to balance the budget.

I bailed midway through season 7. Every now and again, I'd read recaps of season 8 to see if it got better. But if anything it sounded like it got worse. :(

No worries! I reread it and realized my previous comment didn't actually sound amusing! Lol :)

No I don't think they need to be fired. I was joking about hiring new people. :)

Thanks! That's good to know! :)

You're welcome! :)

You're not going insane. It was apparently a mistake in post-production.

Yeah, I wondered the same thing. Black Jack's too evil to go out that easily!

There's just something about him that fills me with irrational anger. Well, not irrational anger, per se, but the intense amount of rage I feel when I see him is perhaps irrational.

I actually came across Darrell Hammond in a bit part on an old Law and Order: SVU rerun earlier this week and had wondered what he was up to after leaving SNL. Then I read this article and learn all about his horrific childhood and his struggles with sobriety and self harm as an adult—none of which I knew anything

I really like Previously.TV too. I'm curious to see what the new TWoP site looks like, but I'd be surprised if it succeeds in causing a mass exodus from Previously.TV.

I keep obsessively checking the internet for news, and from what I can tell, there's still no release date for the last book. :(

That's a good point that I didn't think about! I was just more focused on the general idea of someone fighting for a cause. Her not understanding that was what seemed weird to me.

YES! As soon as I read the list, I went to the comments to see if someone mentioned Pink Floyd because they're the first example I thought of. I was surprised to see them left out of the article.

I thought I was the only one!

Gone, Baby, Gone

I think what made it even more annoying to me is she never learns. She just keeps doing the same thing over and over again. I'm not sure it would have bothered me as much if she seemed to be evolving or at least seemed more cognizant of her tendencies toward tunnel vision.

It's almost pathological!

It's almost pathological at this point!

No, it's not just you. I read the book a couple of weeks ago after a friend recommended it, and I have so rarely hated a protagonist that much. I then watched the first season and found myself pretty equally exasperated with her. (I did enjoy the show, though, much more than the book, incidentally.)
