I live fairly close to Tisdale. There are a lot of older residents who have chafed at changing that sign for years. Land of Canola just doesn’t cut it.

This spectacular failure pleases me, if only on a purely schadenfreude level.
I’m with him. I’m sick of the way fruity guys dress all fruity these days. We should be more manly and dress like construction workers, police officers, bikers, cowboys or even Indian chiefs.
I’ve been a young drunk woman in many countries (alone) and the worst that happened to me was being hospitalized for some broken ribs I obtained completely sober.
I was waiting for the Cosmo-esque buzz kill of “...and now that man is my husband” and I’m so delighted it didn’t come. I must’ve forgotten where I was.
How can anyone not love Florence. She’s magical!
The world better not end before May 1st, I really want to see The Avengers.
The Canadian curling population is the largest in the world, I believe. Here are some fun curling facts: (apparently I’m a “heavy curler”)
Since when is “dipping something out” a proper term? “Dipping” alone implies putting something into something just a little and quickly; scooping is taking something out.

Apparently, today I and a bunch of other people woke up in a parallel universe where “scoop” and “dip” are synonyms...this has to be a regional thing, right?
I’m from the Northeast and have never heard that. Ice cream is scooped.
Only from time spent living in places other than my homeland (where “dip” actually means “dip”) do I understand what this means. Okay... so clearly an entire subset of Americans (regional maybe) are completely unfazed by the use of dip in the context of shake. In my experience Dipping is to take something and stick in something else and then immediately remove it.... does it mean something else in some other place?
you mean hand-scooped?!
Cmon, beets are tasty, nutritious, and as a bonus with the red ones you get to see what your poo would look like if you were bleeding internally!
What is a hand dipped shake though
Yaara, thank you for coming out. I can’t imagine the guts it took.
I grew up in New England and Mr. Pibb hasn’t really made any appearances except for at Five Guys. When I was in Indianapolis visiting family I asked the waitress what Pibb Xtra was and she gave the best response ever, “well Mr. Pibb wanted to put in a little extra” I sat there going wait what? Nooo I mean what is Mr.…
