To the first poster: Can't emphasize enough the water thing. Also, I exfoliate with a mild non-foaming soap (CeraVe or Mario Badescu) and a washcloth. A toothbrush and warm water also works fairly well. I then, every night, coat my lips in Aquaphor, and have even used Neosporin when my lips are really bad. These both

You are the best! Thanks again for these reviews! I've been holding out for a while, reading your posts...and now it's time to invest!

Thanks so much for your response! To put you on the spot...if you were only to get one (the horror, I know), would you go for Birchbox or Glossybox?

Great review! Can someone remind me which box is largely skin care (rather than cosmetics?) I have enough makeup already, but I'm interested in expanding my skin care repertoire!

Apologies if this ends up being a double post, but I'm having commenting issues...

Sorry, but no. In an ideal world, perhaps. Unfortunately, not all survivors report (see my comment above). Additionally, the police do not have the best record of responding in a timely fashion. (Rape kit backlogs, anyone?) Furthermore, university investigations are completely separate. I've worked with many students

Thank you so much!

SKIN. CARE. Which brands are worth the price? Which are basically scented wax and Vaseline? Would love to hear about your favorites (specifically: anti-aging peels, exfolliant, and night cream.) Thank you so much!

I kind of see your point, but there is just no way to ensure that a survivor will call 911. Many survivors are simply not immediately ready to file a report. And some never do. So what happens then? (Not asking you, just asking rhetorically!)

I love this one even more than the previous manicure (the pink and glitter)!

In addition to working as a campus advocate, I have years of experience in advocacy and survivor support. This is literally the WORST ever idea, and would effectively ensure that campuses never get the chance to bring up students on conduct charges. Administrators would be forced to wait for the police to conduct and

You NEED to show him this!

Ooh, interesting! I used YSL illuminating foundation for awhile, but the shade I picked was too gray and I didn't like the way it separated in the bottle. It also broke me out.

It was definitely worth it, for me. The woman who helped me selected a few different foundations and then applied them on my jaw line, which made it easy to compare shades and finishes. Go for it!

NARS All-Day Luminous Weightless Foundation (what a mouthful, right?) My color IQ shade is 4Y02-4Y03 and I use the "ceylan" shade. Online it says it's a medium with yellow undertones, but honestly it looks MUCH lighter in the store/in-person than the swatch online. For comparison's sake, my drugstore go to has been

So true re: MAC! I know that they are serious about hiring professional make-up artists (as opposed to people with an interest in makeup, as with Sephora), so I wonder if that has something to do with it.

MAN, I love this series. The only downside is that the outcomes usually skew "suburban," just because most malls are in suburban locales. It would be cool to see some more adventurous looks.

Good call! I just learned about this the other week. As far as I know, CeraVe doesn't have the same issue (but don't quote me!)

Cetaphil is the tits. Also CeraVe is similarly priced and good for "problem" skin.
