Niantic has been terrible at communicating with its players. Maybe literally taking money out of their pocket will send a message that they can’t ignore.

Yet another in a long line of “small company with very specific vision that refuses to compromise” vs. “large fanbase with totally different vision.”

Since the update my GPS tracker has been going bananas. Darting my avatar all over the place, freezing for a good minute, or just losing the signal altogether. Over and over. That the case for anyone else? :( All in all, I’m just through spending money on this game until Niantic gets their act together. I’m tired of…

The most important and annoying thing about this update that nobody is even mentioning is that they changed the way curveballs work. They are much more difficult to control now and very hard to hit pokemon that are farther away. Curvers beware!

Yeah, there’s no denying that the ‘nearby’ list still leaves a lot to be desired even when it is working... But I think a lot of problems are, at the very least, exacerbated by the fact that the documentation for the game is just so sparse. It’s one thing to hide easter eggs in the game, it’s another to literally not…

Eh, that’s the way it was supposed to work. I found that it didn’t really work that way, though. Sometimes you run into something that was 7th or so down the list, without it ever having moved up the list. And sometimes you run into things that aren’t on the list at all. They also removed the ‘battery saver’ option that would auto-dim the device if you held it at your side...

I guess they really do want this game to be obscure and random. Not worth my time.

That’s annoying. There was a Squirtle in my neighbourhood today and I couldnt find him. I looked like an idiot just walking back and forth for an hour.
