Did I mention it has 973 pound-feet of torque at the wheels? Great googly moogly.

Seriously, think about it: as you sit there, nodding in your head, telling yourself that you're an above average driver, so are hundreds of other people, all across the country, reading this column, convinced they're better than everyone else, convinced they're a brilliant driver, convinced that Jalopnik should really

Considering the less-that-perfect state of our roads, I imagine metal rims will survive more potholes than carbon fiber wheels. Perhaps I'm wrong, but I've seen many a slightly bent rim lip, where a CF rim lip would crack.

Huh. Do you pay cash to buy a house, or do you have a mortgage?

Protect the king at all costs.

You failed to mention that car brakes actually contribute to global warming! Have you ever felt the heat that comes off those things?

For a while it looked there was a renaissance of the cheap RWD sports car with the Toyobaru twins, and concepts from Chevrolet, Kia, and Nissan, but then nothing. FR-S/BRZ sales are tapering off and those concepts have all seemed to disappear.

You'd think that make sense for a track focused car like this but I doubt it. Dealers will order this fully loaded and most of the people buying it will also want customization. I'm guessing there will be some sort of sports exhaust/bodykit package that would make a stripper car much worse for resale down the road. As

"How is that NOT pass interference!? He fucking slammed into the guy to get the ball!"

important to remember, though, that a carrier deck is moving through the air and so, technically, "leaving behind" the stationary turbulence. As for busy airports - that's at least one reason why you don't land a small aircraft there.

Any American dumb enough to pour money into a Range Rover isn't going to be smart enough to maintain a battery.

Hey, American 1%ers can drive Range Rovers, too. Or at least have their car collection curators drive them every once in a while, just to keep the battery from going flat.

I'm waiting for the Range Rover commercial using the traditional elementary school revision of the song:

yup. and since most people don't know that they will be required, in 2018 there will be adds saying "we are the first brand to make back up cams standard"

He's playing the ball, which is the primary thing you do in this game. You should never comment on the rules of football ever again.

Don't think it's that people can't handle sad.

More just that a lot of people are sick of this trend of sappy Super Bowl ads. SB ads used to be all funny. Now we get all these emotional appeals and it gets tired after awhile. I hated ads like Ram's "The Farmer" a couple years ago for the same reason.

You're not in a relationship, are you?

How is this related to private prisons?

i so good that was sarcasm, as $30 an hour is definitely enough money to raise two kids and buy your own house. You just have to live with in your means and not try to impress people you don't know with stuff you don't need. And if your spouse works as well, that is even easier.

I went to the Singapore GP this year....I did not enjoy it.
