I think you have that right. What works are reading glasses set to an appropriate focal length for the monitor distance. Fancy tinting and coatings are hooey.

Thanks!! Search couldn't find it.
Wow, wow, wow. Loved this. Weird that it's called Part 1 since, after 5 months, there is no part 2. But there is a second video, similar topic:
Good idea. What insulation did you use?
Why not 4-foot fluorescent tubes? Incandescents and CFLs are not a great choice for overhead. For a 40x40 garage. 6-12 will do. In my case, I use just two, at the end of the garage where I do real work (I have no need to illuminate my cars and storage shelves).
Interesting. I will check that out. Do you know what they mean by "computer" glasses? Are they just glasses designed for a set distance?
When I was in college, there was a medical incident and I marveled at how calm the EMT was. I resolved to be that way and it turned out to be very productive at work. A calm demeanor — even if I am panicked inside — defuses emotionalism, focuses the team, and enhances productivity.
Rinse the ice. I believe that wet ice has fewer nucleation sites.
I had my eye doctor write a prescription for a pair of reading glasses set to the distance between my eyes and my monitor. I measured the distance range before I went. Then I had a set of glasses made to that Rx (Costco, about $100 I think).

Even better: Go to any of the zillion privately-owned postal annexes. Rarely a line and they offer most USPS services.
I was thinking the same thing. My guess is that the video of the cats themselves was disappointingly devoid of interesting moments so they tried a mediocre documentary tone. Having spent the money, they were damn well going to release a video.
Great point, that 350 makes oven sharing easier.
You just need a new family!
Agree on spatchcocking (butterflying) Amazingribs.com has a (very) detailed method for smoking the bird that way, using an ordinary grill. Works as well without the smoke or in the oven.
AB and Cook's Illustrated's methods are similar in the most important respects: namely, brining and using a meat thermometer. Get the temperature right and the rest is much less important. Brining (whether you buy it brined (label says it's soaked in a "solution") or you brine it yourself) gives you some leeway on the…
