Airlines, hotels, and restaurants want their employees to discard their customers' left-behind phones. Sure.
I have a QR code on mine (goes to my LinkedIn page) and people almost always remork on it. It's amazing to me that it's not more common.
You find so many phones that you have developed a policy about how you handle them?
When you do take a pain reliever, don't take two, just because the label tells you to. Take one and see if that works. That generally works for me.
Also true for the product sold via their website: "Free Upgrade: Purchase 1Password for Mac or Windows today and receive a FREE upgrade to version 4 when it becomes available."
Just don't check the box for the reminders when you sign up. They are optional.
I disagree strongly. I "have an eye" for photography. I learned it as a child. I have taught it. Likewise for design and writing. Read "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" for stunning examples of how Betty Edwards makes artists out of people who "can't draw."

Simpler reason: Modems are designed by engineers and we engineers love blinking lights!
As a long-time hiring manager, I don't agree. If asked at an appropriate moment, in an open way, it's no issue. I would not open with it, though. You need to wait for, or create, the opening for you to ask questions. WHich is a good idea anyway.
I worked on that question. Harder to calculate than it might seem but I did a few calculations on my turkey page, in the brining detail section:
I ask myself, "what is my honor worth?"
I grab the cat and use her to wipe up the lint. That's where it all came from, anyway.
I recall reading of a study that shows this works well for snacks. Moved my candy to a drawer across the room and it makes a surprisingly big difference in how often I nibble.
Pretty good system but for me, the key is to build or buy very short cables and adapters plus some that are on little wind-up reels. Poke around dealextreme.com and monoprice.com (search for "USB cable") to find them. For travel, I avoid a pile of 3- or 6-foot cords.
Both these Monoprice products are nice finds! Thanks.
We want to add wi-fi to cover my brother's small farm. The house is at one end of the property, two stories. I figure a wifi gadget in the upstairs window will cover the farm well. My question is what kind of wifi gadget to use.
Very unlikely it's worth fixing. Ask them to leave it there and light it manually to use it, until the new one is there.
I prep ingredients while I cook. But if I need to hold several ingredients for a later step, I just use a plate. Carrots at 12 o'clock, onions at 3 o'clock, etc. Then I just sweep each ingredient into the pan as it's needed.
