If I went to get chicken wings and *didn’t* see black folk dining I would ask to be seated at a better restaurant.

Yes, because the employees *not* involved in this horrible decision should be punished even though those responsible are no longer there.

Pin this up, right next to “The First Amendment doesn’t protect you from private individuals or groups”.

You are so full of shit.

If you insist on punishing a business after they’ve corrected their mistakes, they no longer have any incentive to correct their mistakes. You’d prefer if they were still working there?

Just for context, this is exactly what discrimination laws protect people against. Specific treatment of people in a business setting due to *only* the color of their skin.

That’s exactly how big corporate chain restaurants work. The customer is literally *always right* and they’ll bend over backwards to ensure even the shittiest customers come back.

I don’t automatically assume there was a racist customer to accommodate.

So with Splinter gone and Deadspin pretty much so, are The Root and Jezebel next on ‘herb’s’ chopping block? It pretty much appears to be a slow, but determined, destruction of everything that makes a difference, so I’d have to think that The Root would be next on the list.

“If I want to be offline I have the *RIGHT* too”. Where did you get the idea that you have a legally protected right to demand game companies make a game be offline available?  I too dislike the idea of D4 being all online, but other than not buying it or writing polite letters to customer service indicating I won’t

You know... Diablo’s world is one of the few where I honestly don’t feel like saving everyone really matters. The entire world of Sanctuary is more of a downer than all the Soulsborne worlds combined.

It was even more confusing that that. Because If I understand it right, OW got disbanded WAY before OW1, and OW1 was already about the re-uniting. So the Launch trailer for OW2 just seemed like a mild summary of OW1?

...you say emotional, I say twee and trite, with all the depth of a puddle.

That actually looks pretty cool. My first thought was the thing in the sky looked like something Naaru, but I think it was supposed to be, like, an upside-down Icecrown. Shades of Castlevania’s inverted castle, I guess.

she couldn’t fight saurfang / malf / greymane, but she solos LK?  lol k

What a lackluster apology, completely undermining the core issue in a company’s leaders aquiescing to political standard imposed by a thin skinned autocracy and firing those who dare speak truth to it.

Translation: this affected our sales and stock price.

“This kind of stereotyping flies in the face of what we know to be true about humans. It doesn’t reflect the real world.”

Mardi Moore is incorrect. The algorithms do reflect what we know to be biologically true about humans.

If you actually listened to everything Obama said, you probably wouldn’t be so pissed off, because what he actually said was that calling people out over insignificant things and doing nothing else didn’t count as activism. And he’s right.

How the fuck can you expect it to identify non-binary correctly?
