I know this is a different dev, but I’ve played a lot of Borderlands 3 and I like it a lot. But on Xbox One there are serious texture and UI loading issues, to the point where there is input lag when I’m trying to go through guns in my inventory. And comparing guns is like half of the game.

That’s kinda how I feel with Borderlands 3, though of course it’s in a much better place.

I’m not even mad at Bethesda anymore, I’m mad at the players for being stupid enough to keep playing whatever the hell this is.

Read The Immortalists for a good take on the same idea.

The games have been getting simpler and simpler ever since Oblivion, with its less draconian stat scheme compared to Morrowind. Even Skyrim, in all its greatness, was decidedly a RPG for the COD crowd. Then Fallout 4 was a straight shooter with an immaterial RPG skin, and then Fallout 76 is hardly even a game at all.

This was me and World of Warcraft. I quit that game half a dozen times, and only did so for good because my old-ass computer couldn’t run it anymore. But it wasn’t about FOMO, it was about having a predictable and rewarding experience when my real life was neither of those things. For a long time Azeroth felt more

I think it did. It just showed how well he understood her, or how they were so similar. It made them love each other to the point where his faith was tested, and I think hers as well. He chose God, and she chose to be on her own without us as a crutch.

Also any chronic asshole can have their behavior explained away with a bullshit diagnosis. If you keep telling a kid they are not responsible for their actions, of course they’re going to act shitty.

Perpetual victimhood is easier.

Honestly there are some kids who need a beatdown even if their shittiness does not rise to the level of a felony.

Google also has to convince me why I want to abandon my network of friends on Xbox Live to play the same games without them.

First got reported before suspects were publicly identified. Don’t expect updates on conviction and sentencing.

It’s worse than thinking we don’t understand now. Now, they think it’s because of personal spite, although they’re doing their best to make that true.

One of my college roommates was a Bush II neo-con. We’d argue with him, and no matter what we said, his only response was “You’re not listening to me,” and then repeating the same shit, because he was doubling-down and projecting like all conservatives do. And it was clear he was only a Republican because his rich dad

WoW is $15 for over a decade’s worth of content, continuous free updates, and a huge, active player base.

They’re pushing Game Pass Ultimate pretty hard, to the point that you can’t even find a la carte Game Pass unless you have a dormant sub already. The $1 to start Ultimate sounds pretty good, but considering I buy 12 month Gold cards when they’re on sale and will only use Game Pass intermittently, $15 a month for both

The first great Fallout game since New Vegas comes out on Friday.

I mean, I have nothing but cheap cables, and they work fine. Then again, I am a functioning adult who manages to plug his phone in to charge every night so I don’t need fast emergency charging throughout the day.

Also one can easily find technical details on press releases. I want Kotaku’s idea on how it feels, not a breakdown of every last mechanic.

The funny thing is that I suspect the corporations will be more socialist than the separatists, since it’s the de facto government of Halcyon.
