That gif is strangely cathartic. I can feel my own stress melting away.
“Brown’s agent Drew Rosenhaus”
The sport is dead if the drama comes from the official reviews and not the actual game.
Come at me, but I never got sick of Borderlands 2. I see nothing wrong with Jack, and “these pretzels suck” and Butt Stallion will always get me. Even Claptrap is tolerable. The naysayers just hate fun.
Steelers fans don’t “travel well,” they just all left Pittsburgh for obvious reasons.
Between being from Pittsburgh and going to Penn State, there is not a single nice thing I’ll ever say about football fans ever again.
I’m just surprised they applied them to already-discovered planets.
If it’s available at all, in any way or amount, it will counteract the social improvement that this change brings along.
Some people don’t get lonely.
There was a lady I used to see regularly at the train station. I usually have headphones in, and I could tell she was annoyed because I wasn’t giving her the attention she apparently craved. One day I didn’t have them and she took the opportunity to interrogate me for my life story. I personally would never be…
Missing out on intel? Look, 9 times out of 10 I know what I want and I expect to get that. A bartender should not flatter themselves as a mixologist unless they’re wearing a bow tie and no cocktail is less than $18. If I’m in that kind of place, I’m probably not looking at my phone.
“DPS throws the game because ¯\_(ツ)_/¯” was probably my favorite meta.
Then the bullying to switch would be back again.
I logged in and half of my base was gone and my planet was completely different. I couldn’t activate any of my equipment to look at the new blueprint trees (which I liked when I saw them in the space station). The new power mechanic makes sense but I guess I should rebuild with that in mind.
People largely played other “comps” because the comp had nothing to do with it. They played what they wanted, team be damned. That’s not a good model for a team-based game. You can’t balance it so that 5 DPS and one single-target healer will work, but people kept fucking doing it.
While QP isn’t ranked, the point of playing the game is to win. And so many people simply did not play to win, sometimes even in Comp. This change forces people to consider the team aspect of this team shooter/first-person-MOBA in the way they should have been doing from the beginning.
I stopped playing this long ago because people refused to play the right way (and there is a right way). This is closer to the right way, maybe I’ll come back.
It’s because they accidentally covered a story of police doing a good job and couldn’t mine enough outrage from it.
