I just remember reading EGM back in the 90s and they had the hugest boner for the Aliens game on the Jaguar. Like it was some visceral experience and they thought it was one of the greatest games of all time.

It’s poetry in motion.

Every place where I have lived, if you don’t cut your lawn, the local government will do if for you. They will fine you, charge you for it at marked up rates, and will add it to your property tax bill if you don’t pay it.

The readers themselves are fantastic, but I’m not buying another until they start proofreading their book scans and fixing all of the scanning errors I see in every single ebook, even the $12 ones. It used to be assumed that the price of a book included some quality control, but not anymore. I’m sticking with print

I remember when Assange was a liberal golden boy. My, how the democrats have cannibalized.

False: They’re just broke ass yo-yos.

true.

Was it worth a penalty? Absolutely. But you can’t convince me that Niskanen somehow purposely lined up Crosby’s head with his stick as Crosby was awkwardly collapsing/sliding towards him. And when it comes to suspension, you have to take intent into account.

Your lukewarm take is the right take. I watched the replay several times (as an aside, CBC wouldn’t show the replay until Crosby was up, and actually made note of that as if it was assumed. Is this a thing I’ve never noticed before?), and your opinion can change with each view. “Oh, he didn’t really extend his arms at

I don’t know if it’s the minority or not. You definitely have a lot of people that feel this way though.

Insurance should not pay out claims for un-belted occupants. Problem solved.

A far easier approach is to NOT COUNT unbelted fatalities as auto fatalities. Instead create a new “idiot” category for them. Lumping them in with belted occupants unfairly penalizes the auto industry and leads to idiotic things like automatic seat belts.
