Every place where I have lived, if you don’t cut your lawn, the local government will do if for you. They will fine you, charge you for it at marked up rates, and will add it to your property tax bill if you don’t pay it.

The readers themselves are fantastic, but I’m not buying another until they start proofreading their book scans and fixing all of the scanning errors I see in every single ebook, even the $12 ones. It used to be assumed that the price of a book included some quality control, but not anymore. I’m sticking with print

true.

That’s not really the case. Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine (which you mention) all voluntarily gave up their nuclear weapons.

Has to be? Why just b/c it is on Crosby?

In what universe is that hit on Werenski even remotely dirty? The hit on Carlo was more awkward than dirty, but the hit on Werenski was 100% clean - Werenski had the puck, the hit was shoulder-to-shoulder, and while Ovechkin does drive up he doesn’t leave his feet so it’s not a charge. Trying to claim that was in any

Exactly!

A very good, objective take. Anyone who has watched or played hockey for many years agrees with it. Only extremely biased Pens fans do not.

Was it worth a penalty? Absolutely. But you can’t convince me that Niskanen somehow purposely lined up Crosby’s head with his stick as Crosby was awkwardly collapsing/sliding towards him. And when it comes to suspension, you have to take intent into account.

Now playing

I don’t know how Pens fans can complain, when they got away with this last year:

Hot take:

Your lukewarm take is the right take. I watched the replay several times (as an aside, CBC wouldn’t show the replay until Crosby was up, and actually made note of that as if it was assumed. Is this a thing I’ve never noticed before?), and your opinion can change with each view. “Oh, he didn’t really extend his arms at

Its called Karma for trying to draw a shit penalty on Ovi and diving, he gets hit for real. Shouldn’t have even been a penalty. He fell in Nisk’s lane. Compared to previous games with players going down with injury it was an awful fast whistle.

I don’t know if it’s the minority or not. You definitely have a lot of people that feel this way though.

There’s a zero percent chance Crosby would’ve been ejected for doing the same thing

Hot take alert: This is what the NHL, Penguins get for allowing Crosby to get away with anything and everything over the past decade. If you wanna defend Crosby that’s on you. Head trauma is no joke and I don’t want to see it happen either. With that said, this is the same guy that slashes (with immunity) and uses

Am I in the minority in thinking Crosby got what was coming to him? He’s a dirty player but because he’s the “face?” of the league he always gets a pass.

Insurance should not pay out claims for un-belted occupants. Problem solved.

A far easier approach is to NOT COUNT unbelted fatalities as auto fatalities. Instead create a new “idiot” category for them. Lumping them in with belted occupants unfairly penalizes the auto industry and leads to idiotic things like automatic seat belts.
