Please trust me when I tell you that a traditional german potato salad is as different from white americas potato salad as your potato salad is. I'm not going to ask you to try it, because you have your food traditions and they are valuable. But German potato salad is delicious too.

This is what I’m going through as of 5 hours ago. My partner had me wait in my car while she went with a guy friend to help him check into a cheap motel. So I’m in the front of the parking lot just smoking a cig and waiting..it had been about 15 min so I asked her what’s going on, she said they just got to the room…

Yup, I don't remember my birthday parties until my 10th (but I know I never had a themed party - ever). This really strikes me as something only wealthy people do. My family was far from wealthy, so it was all cakes and balloons... til I turned 10, then my mom went all out and took me to a science museum too.

A one year old doesn’t want a themed birthday party. They hardly know what a party IS at that age, and are thrilled by simple things like balloons and cake.

I mean this is sad and sick. Can he really be that self-hating? Or that enthralled with being a Senator in a state that could care less about him? I am always amazed that these folks exist...him, Clarence Thomas, Condi (to some degree)...learned black ppl who truly hate themselves. I need to stop being so surprised...
