I haven't had the chance to rewatch Twin peaks yet so I appreciated being reminded about some of the more forgettable characters. Also funny to read what happened to all the cast.

I FOUND SOMETHING! AND THEN THERE THEY WERE.

That's my favourite Lynch scene ever. David Goddamn Bowie walks in for no apparent reason, rambles incoherently, we see flashes of the lodge (along with a lumberjack and a jumping monkey man), The Man From Another Place is even more bizarre than ever, Gordon and Philip ramble in the background the whole time and then

I guess, to be fair to the logic of the show, Michael J Anderson will have aged a LOT which, for an interdimensional dancing emobiment of incest and murder, wouldn't really make much sense in story terms. Yes, Leland and Laura will be ridiculously older looking, but since they were once real people, you could easily

The latter part of season 2 is terrible, but I thought that wacky Windom Earle at least gave the show some desperately needed energy. And as everyone on the internet will tell you, the season 2 finale is a damn masterpiece.

The inside word on deadline yesterday was that New Girl will be hopefully getting a final, shorten season to wrap up the show. That might mean it's held back a little later than normal though.

I really really want them to introduce Kite Man. Tom King is showing in the comics currently that the world desperately needs more Kite Man.

Wasn't the idea that the first two seasons were always ridiculous but were desperately trying to be gritty and realistic? In comparison to just throwing in the towel and making the wacky fun time Riddler/Penguin hour of power?

Kristen Wiig should spend a year just guest starring on every show currently airing on every network and always toting a gun.

The first santa clause movie is a delightful holiday classic. In that one he played…a pompous…blow-hard….idiot and…hmm…Tim Allen really is only good at one type of thing.

It can be two things!

Remember when we had all those lovely super villain gimmick accounts in the comment section? I miss those wacky guys and their comic book references…

With the imminent release of new Twin Peaks, there's never been a better time to (re)play Deadly Premonition!

I also found the whole "play as corvo OR emily!" to be arbitrary and annoying. It's a pretty blatant "Play the game twice to get the whole story!" arrangement, but just feels like it hurts the wider narrative. Neither character has an entire story and the emotional undercurrent is dampened by only showing their

Poor Grant Gustin has got a lot of flak this season for his mopey, stupid Barry. But give him the chance to be FUNNY (like Duet and this episode) and he's a delight. I really hope this episode is a sign from the writers that grim misery is a bad approach for season 4. Leave the grim misery stuff to Arrow. The Flash is

Probably because Twin Peaks was so ahead of it's time. Lynch and Frost brought a huge cinematic flair that I'm told was unheardnof in television back in 1990. Plus it's always held such a sturdy pop culture imprint and that's kept it in the minds of the internet for a long long time now. Lynch has been pretty open for

The cult classic video game Deadly Premonition!

Laura Dern always commits 100% of herself to the performance. Even if the performance makes her look stupid or ugly, she gives every ounce of herself. Wild at heart and inland empire shouldn't really work given that they're borderline incoherent, but they do, largely because of Dern selling the lunacy as a real thing.

The worst part about Josie becoming a door knob was how they crowbarred in BOB and the man from another place for no apparent reason. Like, okay, maybe Josie became a door knob because…she was terrible? But why the hell would a cosmic demonic serial killer give a crap about Josie?

Michael Rooker was enjoyable in the first movie, but he completely kills it in the second one. Utterly hilarious and one of the unexpected emotional cores of the entire narrative. Also amazing that in hindsight His offhanded comment in the first movie that Star Lord's dad being a jerk was not only correct, but
