Idris Elba has been in some bad movies but I can't think of a single bad movie where Idris Elba himself has been bad. He's just a damn good actor with both a threatening presence and a warm likable charm.

Oh that wacky Putin! Will he ever catch that crafty road runner?

Considering most of Beau Willimon's career has been fairly grim but silly political dramas, it's an interesting twist that he's making a sci-fi tv series. Presumably it'll have lots of fairly grim but sillly political drama (as well as sci-fi nonsense!).

I'm kind of curious to know what the viewing experience would have been like. Would Oliver Stone have been cautiously watching every fidget of Putin during the movie? Did they sit on a couch (and if so, how close did the two sit?). Did Stone and Putin share snacks during the movie? Was there ever a bathroom break

I know this season has been a depressing mess that will get far worse before it can possibly hope to improve, but let us never forget that season 3 of The Flash also gave us HR Wells. (Possibly the greatest arrowverse character of all time)

"I'm the future flash!" Savitar has been pretty blatant all season as well. Plus Barry has been steadily morphing into an idiot jerk for two seasons now.

It's house of cards! Anyone who gets close to stopping Frank can just be effortlessly shoved in front of a moving train and swiftly forgotten.

Considering that Beau willimon left at the end of season 4, I'm trying not to read too much into any potential changes that'll no doubt take place in the new seasons. But "One nation, Underwood" feels like the kind of dumb corny line we wouldn't have seen previously. Classy corny is what the show is best at.

Given that Black Mirror managed to be a beautiful and incredibly bleak show about the misery of the future back when things were brighter and more optomistic, I kind of fear what kind of hell Charlie Brooker will unleash in this post-Trump world.

I'm all for more Ridley Scott Alien movies. Aliens is a classic action movie but Alien is a masterpiece on every level.

"I go to my room now to smoke. Special occasion"

"Changing his name to get out of it. Clever! But irrelevant!" Ron LaFlamme was always great fun.

You didn't like season 3? I simply love the cruel perfection that they finally built the platform (exactly like they always wanted), but it was so damn convoluted that the masses rejected it outright. Plus the running plot of the blandly safe "box"' was a lot of fun.

Does Gavin still want or need the algorithm? He has his army of highly successful Nucleus boxes which basically just run the same as Pied Piper. Depending on how Richard's "new internet" starts to play out, I could totally see Gavin calling in his potential rights purely out of deranged spite.

Your insight from a real life legal perspective is genuinely fascinating. If they continue this particular story arc or do similar plots, I'd really love more of your insight into the real life legal system.

Silicon Valley loves to seemingly set up season long stories only to hilariously bring the plot crashing down far far earlier than any other show. The aborted heist plot from season 3 is probably the most brilliantly cut short storyline in recent memory.

The tragic thing is that a DC movie being passable is all we can really hope for these days. I'm just thankful thatDC has straightned out their comics line on the whole.

There was no way in hell it would have or could have won best picture. Could they have scraped together a strong campaign to get George Miller a well deserved best actor oscar? Maybe. He sure as hell deserved it but a movie like The Revenant screams Academy Awards.

I'm just happy we have Cheetah as a playable character in Injustice 2. Not sure if she's still Wonder Woman's arch enemy in the comics, but having Cheetah visible in a big game release means they do her eventually on the big screen.

I'm confident we're being shown enough at this stage. Wonder Woman looking shiny. Some nice colour differences between the Amazon island and London. A little witty humour here and there. Ares may in the movie for a short fight scene. They may want to hold off on showing him.
