I don't know what to think anymore! Down is up! Up is down! Donald Trump is the president! Moonlight won best picture! The only constant is that Warren Beatty is and always will be a jerk.

Something something something Batman V Superman really wasn't that bad something something something something surely there were worse movies to pick on.

Which is why it was for the best to use that Audition song to indicate Mia's abilities. That way you let the audience be wowed by Emma Stone in that one scene and then that kind of bleeds into our acceptance of Mia's supposed acting talents.

I largely agree, but Mia got that amazing Audition song. Granted it was a song about her crazy aunt but it still demonstrated her capacity for raw emotional intensity (which presumably sealed her character's professional success). Seb had passion and ability but he never got a song to emotionally lay out his personal

What are we to assume? That this was some sort of…magic BCC? Heh, I hope someone got fired for that blunder!

Can the central villain by Kiteman? My dearest hope is that his recent comic cameos and his split second role in lego batman has prepared the world for the future glory of Kiteman ("Kiteman! Hell yeah!")

The comics seem to have restored some of that joy as well. Given the scope of the movie's, there's few ways to read DC Rebirth's master plot "watchman characters are to blame for our grim misery" other than a more pointed "Zach Snyder is to blame for the characters grim misery!"

My favourite part of that trailer is when Zod has a creepy little line of "You believe your son is safe?" And then a split second later his eyes are bugging out and he's screaming "I WILL FIND HIM!!!"

Guy Ritchie is not always a great filmmaker, but he is always an entertaining one. Hell, even Revolver (a terrible, self indulgent mess if ever there was one) is wildly insane and becomes kind of fun. So I say bring on Jude Law chewing the scenery! I hope this movie is filled with tons of anachronistic music and loopy

I think mainly that the mandalorians largely reached their apex during the ill fated "mandalorian war" in the old republic era and then gradually died out until Jango/Boba Fett tragically became the very last in a long line of ancient warriors. So, essentially they doubled as both an interesting long gone race and

In a different reality, milo would be a figure to deeply pity. Why? Because he clearly hates himself. He's filled with probably years of emotional abuse and psychological trauma that leads him to constantly be the figure of hatred. He gleefully supports a movement that, by his own admission, absolutely hate him. He

But maybe if McConaughey was narrating, he could have used the twisty time travel stuff to once again remind us that his personal hero is himself, five years in the future.

To be fair, as absolutely astonishing as the original score for arrival was (and it WAS amazing) much of the emotional crux of the movie relies upon a pre-existing music track and a pre-existing track that was used fairly frequently in the movie to boot. The academy couldn't nominate just the original parts of the

I've always loved the hilariously nightmarish animal shelter with a little girl being dragged out screaming in utter agony.

I'd love to see Babe Pig in the City get a big cinema rerelease with tons of marketing that unironically screams FROM THE MASTERMIND BEHIND MAD MAX FURY ROAD!!!

The comics line is doing well again from a creative and sales perspective. The games still sell and the CW shows are wildly popular. So you know, the possibility for movie stuff is there. The studio certainly isn't going to be icing the characters in the foresseable future but WB definitely seems to be politely

Wonder woman will save us! You'll see! She'll bring action and fun and laughs and excitement and gifts for every orphan in the world! Failing that…maybe just make every DC franchise into a fun lego movie? Or just bite the bullet and promote the CW shows to movie stardom.

And mousehunt! Why does everyone forget how enjoyable mousehunt was?

As a game, absolution is perfectly fine. As a hitman game though, it kind of reeks. Mostly because Hitman is about being in a huge sandbox, being given a target and then set loose, all while being gently coaxed to come up with creative solutions while commiting as little violence as possible.

Hitman for me not ranks as one of, if not the best game 2016 but also as the biggest surprise of the year. On paper, the episodic model seemed awful and the previous track record of Square Enix didn't do any favours. Plus…Absolution was pretty awful. But thankfully new Hitman is fantastic! Colourful, hilarious, tense
