I'm an easy mark for this. I love these characters and I would be excited to hang out with them again, whatever retcons were necessary…if I believed anyone behind the scenes had the power to say no to Barr's dumber ideas.
The only show in 2007 I'm aware of that used scabs was Power Rangers of all things.
On the other hand, being obliterated in an erased timeline sounds more appealing than continuing to be a Heroes character.
