I thought the first couple issues were okay, but I dropped it with the last one. "Superficially connected to the cartoon [it's] based on" nails it. What does fighting vampire-zombie-monster things with ray-guns have to do with Scooby-Doo?

Ditto Raven's awful bird costume.
Which finally goes monthly next issue!
There have been some teases in the present day story that'll pay off in Year One. Stuff like Diana and Cheetah talking about how they met and Steve carrying around Wonder Woman's mugshot.
I'm… optimistic for the new book? The art is nice at least and much better than the series ever looked during the New 52.
The War That Time Forgot was a few years before the New 52. You might be thinking of Blackhawks.
It also didn't help that from the beginning of the New 52, it seemed like every couple months a writer and/or artist would leave their book, if not the publisher entirely, over exasperation with DC editorial. So far there's been none of that with Rebirth.
It benefits from the bi-weekly shipping, too. The whole thing will be over after a month. No waiting half a year for it to just go away like, again, Civil War II.
No. It's only in Detective Comics, Nightwing and Batman.
Yeah, the price has me buying more DC than I have in several years. But the $4 price for all the Young Animal books has me unsure about which, if any of them, I'll get. Which sucks because they all look great.
I would watch this, especially if it's even half as fun as the Black Lightning shorts from a few years ago.
Look at those people trying. What a bunch of idiots.
And resolved in a way that, if I remember right, isn't even consistent with that line of dialogue from 1994.
That spoiler: Ew.
I don't think "updated" is the right word. He largely reset them to the versions that folks wanted to see back.
Extreme Ghostbusters is pretty good, despite the terrible and very 90s name.
The interaction between the posters was pretty much:
But where does Kyle XY fit in with all this?
If only there were a way to lock Doctors Oz, Drew and Phil in a room together and lose the key. Hmmm. I have an idea…
That was a dark episode of iCarly.
