That literally gives away no plot points.
There’s a category called “babes in arms,” which allows infants to fly free if they’re on their parents’ laps. I believe the maximum age for it is 2, though, and in practice I’ve only seen people do it with children who look like they’re under the age of 1.
Hi, Pediatrician here! (though I’m no Harvey Karp)
They don’t have to like each other. But it’s their job as actors to make us believe it.
Actually, no, they haven’t done their jobs. A huge part of the appeal of the early seasons of The Good Wife was Kalinda, a complex and kick-ass female character AND her relationship with Alicia. Once the feud began (I think we can drop the “alleged” at this point), they stopped doing scenes together. Considering…
This makes me sad since I really love these two women, as actresses and the characters they play.
Actually, the doctors in Thailand ARE reputable and are some of the best in the world. That's pretty common knowledge in the community and there are plenty of people who get surgeries over there and are quite pleased with the results.
I thought it was Gender Confirmation Surgery.
Triptans make my headache go away, but also make me feel like I’m dying.
actually I’m excited for her because I’m a 275-pound woman who grew up looking for literally any model for how to be fat without being either a comic or tragic figure, soooooo
The scene was very difficult to watch, but I felt like it worked well for the story they’re telling. It was right that Ramsay would rape Sansa; not only is he a sadist, but culturally he’d be expected to — remember that Tyrion was considered a weirdo for NOT immediately raping his teenage bride. I also felt like the…
Ahahaha making a throw away account because my friends definitely know this story. When I was a senior in high school, I was really into the poet Adrienne Rich. Which kind of tells you all you need to know about the type of person I was at that point in my life. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adrienne_… for the…
If you wanna get REALLY meta about it, all I can think is that Amy Schumer should have a late night show. She’s a great comedian so she would nail the monologue portion, and she’s even BETTER at interviewing people. The part of her show where she interviews random people on the street might be my favorite part of her…
Please stop. Just stop. Any slightly trans-phobic things that he said in the past, he has apologized for long since. Anyone who is paying the slightest attention to Dan's work knows that he is not trans-phobic, and is actually a big supporter of the trans community. All of this in-fighting and hand-wringing over…
If you listened to his podcasts, you’d see that he is not transphobic and seemed very sensitive to trans issues. He admitted in the past he wasn’t always as careful about what words to use to refer to them and similar gender issues, but he’s not some transphobic person, at all.
I’m going to root for it. I love Dan Savage. I hope it does well in spite of the right wing opposition, but also in spite of its opposition from the radical left.
Curious...why chemo for a lumpectomy? I’ve just been diagnosed with breast cancer 9very small, pea-size, slow growing) and so far they’re only recommending radiation. Apologies if this is not my business.
Holy Hell.
I remember when I first saw the “It’s Pat!” sketches (on repeat, not when they aired), I was just beginning to get a handle on feminist & queer theory, as well as my own gender identity. At the time, I thought the sketches were transphobic and sexist.
