This actually makes it sound kind of like The Babysitter's Club Club, with the riffing combined with earnestness.

I have the same problem! I mean I listen to a bunch of comedy based podcasts, but I'm still picky about what kind of humor hits me right in comedy. I hear it recommended by the McElroys, which makes me think I'll like it, but they also recommended The Beef and Dairy Network which I did NOT like.
Good to know! I think I'll check out a few this week and see if it's up my alley. I listen to 53 podcasts so I'm always a little wary of adding MORE to my plate, but I keep hearing good things!
That does help sell me on it!
I need to do MaxFunCon someday for sure. It would be so damn fun, and most of my favorite podcasts are on that network.
I keep wondering if I should get into Doughboys. What's it comparable to, podcast wise?
And the "which one vapes? site became an actual thing:
I AM SO JEALOUS you're going to Candlenights.
I LOVED their imaginary Christopher Lloyd absolutely HATING Erik Stoltz.
Hooray! No more being bummed about EPUB!
I will try it again! I tried it on my work computer but that one doesn't like my Kindle anyway. Thank you!
Oh, this wasn't even misinterpreting. This was me having him confused with someone else (who I really do swear had the exact same icon and a very similar name), and I felt terrible that I had mistaken him for someone else. Glad it's cool, as I would have been really upset if I was him or a friend of his too. Good for…
Oh I was wondering where I remembered your name from and wanted to apologize again for being incorrect about Wade a couple months ago. I did apologize to him directly, and left my post up because deleting those things always feels to me like trying to "disappear" mistakes instead of being up front about them. Looking…
I didn't call you names. I also didn't accuse anyone of shutting me out, I said I FELT SHUT OUT.
No, I actually felt unwelcome because of the comments and because these kind of comments get made here so often. There was no positioning myself as such. And women are used to being dismissively told that their feelings about sexism aren't valid, so maybe you shouldn't do that.
Why are you responding to year-old comments?
Yeah, you know what? I'm not going to waste my time arguing with someone who isn't even engaging with what's being said to him. Keep tilting at those feminist windmills, dude.
…nothing I said even comes close to any of those things. That's a while straw army right there.
Considering that an instance just made the internet rounds where a young woman was leered at for posting a picture of her headphones (without her in said picture), ANY photo of a woman might be taken sexually. So women would just have to stop posting pictures online, ever.
Awww, I'm glad it worked out well! Interactions like this always make me happy. Thanks for being awesome about it too!
