My gut tells me that Pence is just as reprehensible as Trump - he just is smoother about it in public. He will continue to support (lie for) Trump which tells us all everything we need to know about this guy.

There’s still a crowd of hangers on milling about for a couple of reasons I can think of..... the likes of Guiliani just want to keep their mugs on tv and other media as long as possible ( he misses the limelight) or the guys like Chris Christie who are stilling vying for a place near the proposed president’s side. …

Well apparently Trump knows all the best loopholes - which makes him, in his opinion very smart and also a genius businessman. But now he is going to work for the “little people” to close those damn loopholes - won’t make him as popular with his cronies in Palm Beach I guess.

The very real fear however is that the baby boomers (and I’m one) will bankrupt the health care system. We are getting old but due to medical intervention not dying until we are REALLY old. Meanwhile we are beginning to use the medical system to an extraordinary degree. Who is going to pay for us in the future. Same…

My experience also. Never sick really a day in my life. But when the diagnosis was heading towards cancer... the system ramped up for me in a matter of days.

If you go to that expense and trouble why save them for just those special occasions. Have them on display at all times - the grandkids will be fascinated.

Actually not. Quite different. We have 13% sales tax - on everything. We can not use a mortgage as a tax deduction. Lots of differences. Upper bracket pays 40% income tax. Sin taxes attract major tax.

Two close relations married Americans and moved to the US. They held onto their Canadian citizenship for years because of the cost of health care in the states. On the other hand, I have been in cancer treatment for two years. The bill? $O But we do pay massive taxes.

I would have to disagree with that. As a woman of a certain age I say “put the bosoms away now” No need to have the mammaries on display. Also don’t like the “hey I just had an energetic fuck hair”. Same applies to Goldie Hawn. You know who looks classy? Rene Russo, Meryl Streep to name a couple.
