I dislike the hotels that charge you WiFi access in your room but it's free in the lobby. What is that all about?

@dajmeister: Will that fix the weave issues I have where all the updates from one computer refuse to get synced back to the weave server so the other two computers don't get any changes done by it?

This reminds me of those useless applications which come bundled with laptops. You know, the ones you load up, go "woo pretty ... yet useless" and promptly uninstall.

@mgw4jc: I rate everything as 3* and then shift the songs up and down depending on how good or bad they are. 2* is poor, 1* is dire.

If you desperately need to free up 4-6GB of space on your hard disk (and assuming you cannot find anything else to delete) then you really need think more seriously about purchasing a larger hard drive.

Throw in BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, 4oD and Demand Five and you'd have a really sweet catchup service for the UK.

Three notable omissions from me:

It would be easier (and probably) cheaper to just buy one of the standard timers that come on at a set time every day.

I wondered why they didn't use a Search Folder but in Outlook 2007 you (stupidly) cannot have one that spans multiple accounts.

I'm not convinced this is a Windows 7 bug, but more a fault with the application.

I want a nice simple easy to use Windows application which will take one or more video files, convert them to a format that the iPod uses and then automatically import them into iTunes.

A better solution would be an application which (during downloads) "fools" Windows into thinking that you're active. Unfortunately I don't know one.

@bwcbwc: The software polls the folder every 30 seconds and then starts the processing automatically. Unless you regularly start watching a programme less than 5 minutes after it has finished recording, then you won't have this problem.

This came up on Slashdot too and I've never seen so much anti-Microsoft FUD and outright rubbish spewed on the subject both there and on here.

Now all we need is an application which takes these wallpapers and automatically turns them into a Windows 7 theme!
