Have they fixed Google Calendar Sync so that it supports re-occuring appointments?

Cancel all social engagements you have that week.

If it will automatically add the encoded files to iTunes, then I could finally get away from the ad-riddled Videora.

Whilst this application looks pretty good, I'm always wary of installing new fonts as older versions of Windows used to slow down to a crawl (especially when booting up) if there were lots of fonts.

It's an interesting idea but I'm not overly keen on giving a website access to my bank account.

It would be nice if they'd fix the abomination that is the "notes" functionality in Outlook.

Last time I went to the States, the size of a "side" of fries was enough to be a complete meal (albeit not very healthy one) for Europe.

For cron, you'd want something like:

I doubt this will be seen in the mess of comments but don't use Google Sync for calendars with reoccurring appointments!

Is there something like this for putting video onto your iPod? I don't want to specify dimensions or fiddle with settings - I just want to select a list of video files and it convert them correctly and dump them on my iPod.

@bachya: Last time I checked, DriveImage XML wasn't able to properly manage your external drive and the backups stored on them.

I just use [tinyurl.com] to create a link to Google Maps. Shorter and easier to type than all the solutions suggested so far...

@muteboy: That looks like a challenge. If you could fill out one of those to show how you'd like it to look with some (fake) calendar appointments then I'll see if it is something I can code.

Whilst a good method, the author forgets to note that Gmail uses the "Sender:" header for your new domain rather than modifying the "From:" header.

@RJinLA: Researching and then purchasing a birthday and/or Christmas present on a computer (which is shared by your other half) without the surprise being lost when they start typing a URL is one very good example.

@bobbo33: To be honest, that isn't a very good macro - for starters all it does it look for the number of instances of the word "attach" and then check there are at least as many attachments. I think I can do something better :)

Nice idea and it should be possible to write something for Outlook that does the same thing. Hmmm, maybe I should give that a go?

Is there anything which will integrate into Windows that supports read and write for HFS+? I don't want to run a seperate application, I want to browse the contents of the HFS+ partitions in the same way as if they were NTFS (or FAT32). Don't mind paying.

I'm still trying to find a free application that will search for album art for my music. Everyone I've tried has one or more of the following issues:
