It is wierd but they have mother/son dances as well. Equally wierd.

Well for generations “female” students weren’t interested in STEM and there has been a big push to get girls into STEM. I think that’s a good thing.

Or just do a STEM event. I see no “male or female” in the acronym “STEM”

These poor moms had to show in interest in their sons and spend quality time with them while encouraging them to aim high.

It would be really great to have a STEM night for girls and there totally should be. However, I think this is way overblown. There are events that schools host just for girls too and I see no backlash here.
