I work in academia and we definitely do not have those days off. Students get MLK day off, but staff still have to work.

I had a couple jobs like that. I only lasted 3 months in each. I cannot stand being bored. It was horrible.

I would agree with your admonish re: dentists 100%. Your teeth and their health affect your well-being WAY more than you probably realize. Everything’s fine, until it isn’t and you are then miserable, in pain with horrible breath cause your teeth are rotting.

As a huge Bollywood fan, I found the descriptions of Priyanka by most of American media to be dismissive and culturally ignorant. I’ve been blessed (and I mean that very genuinely) to attend Indian weddings in the past and they have been a couple of the most amazing experiences in my life.
