I ran my first 10-mile run yesterday (training for my first marathon) and did it, stupidly, at 4:00pm in 88 heat and ugly humidity. Needless to say, there was a WHOLE lot of walking involved. Stopped at a house where a lady was gardening and asked to fill up my water bottle at her hose.
