Oh my god that mini-map rant was ridiculous and terrible.

No, he saw a game with an issue about how it approaches difficulty, and then used that as a prompt to address how bad difficulty sliders/choices are as a whole. Some people don’t want games to be super hard and Wolfenstein 2 is just contributing to the bad implication that people who like easy games are losers.

Conveniently leaving out that they removed PS2 disc backwards compatibilty from PS3 after the initial SKU. And then didn’t feature it at all with PS4 initially in favor of making you shell out for PS Now if you wanted to play those games on the new hardware. While also not carrying liscenses over from pre-existing

Stop trying to act savage. Bringing up old shit won’t help your argument. Xbox One has backwards compatibility this gen not the PS4. Sony at some point got greedy. It happens.

I’m definitely nostalgic for the original playstation start up, although I always thought it was too loud and it kinda reminded me of the THX theme. Nothing more annoying than when you’re trying to quietly game in the middle of the night and turn it on to hear this blaring and then you’re scrambling to turn the

I appreciate your review, as I was looking to pick this up today. Yours is the 3rd written review I’ve looked at, and I’ve gone through 3 other video reviews/commentaries.

I found this review very useful. Maybe you would have too, if you read more than the opening.

He has written books on the video game industry. He has interviewed tons of video game developers. He has probably been playing video games longer than you have been alive, or close to it. And you think his opinion is useless?

You are incorrect. This review was helpful to many people, including me.

This sounds like the kind of train wreck I’m happy to avoid.

I think you were spot on to review the way you did.

He fully explained all the reasons to not love it. It’s like people don’t read the damn articles.

Jason, I’m happy you did this review. I was on the fence about getting this but had a lot of misgivings. I am glad you are being brutally honest about your opinion, even if it’s not the one a lot of people want to hear or agree with. I was worried about a lot of things you mentioned: the battle system being
