When I read the words “Video Game Soundtrack” in my head I thought “Mega Man X.” Glad you got it, too!

What makes you so confident that FFXV will deliver?

In other news, teenagers still want the D.

Then you agree, that before the release, he changed his stance on the game and that means....gasp! He communicated! Therefor, nullifying your original point and the whole reason I am communicating with you. Bam!

The fact that they have totally lost the vision of Final Fantasy, is where my mind goes. I agree with your statement, too!

It’s not very interesting to have a discussion with people who ignore past articles.

I followed No Man’s Sky, and he communicated quite often. All you had to do was read the articles as they were released. The problem is that he was constantly shifting his stance. He never openly lied. He just kept changing his stance, up until the last few days before launch. There, I fixed that for you! ;)

You have a loose interpretation of the word, “tight.”

Whereas the spawn rate of your average Pokemon Go article is about 95%...isn’t there anything else to write about in the gaming/Japanese culture world?

I knew that your comment would miss the mark.

The game developers have forgotten the secret ingredient of Final Fantasy games: mystery. There’s no fucking breathing room for mystery and dreaming, anymore. They’ve already shown so much of this game that they told me that I really don’t want it. They keep saying, “See guys, it’s this! Oh, and this and this! You can

Right! And look at the backlash No Man’s Sky got for all it’s last minute changes. Everyone seems ok with it in this game. Final Fantasy XV is just a smoke screen filled with talk and no substance.

Isn’t that what they showcased in the first hour of the game? All it featured was 1. pushing a car, 2. lots of talk, 3. fetch/go kill this, quests! I was immediately turned off by the first hour, and one of the main reasons I bought a PS4 was for this game. I still can hope that The Last Guardian delivers. And Wild!

This game is all talk and no substance. I’ve never encountered a game in my 29 years of gaming that talks so much about itself before release. There’s a reason they are talking so much. They are trying to convince people that it’s good. When someone is trying to convince me, they have an ulterior motive...which means

Sadly, we won’t know until we see gameplay.

Your comment sounds more hopeful than factual.

I’m glad someone else is able to see through the smoke-screen.

You haven’t played many of the early Final Fantasy games. Final Fantasy 4, 6, and 7 all featured a linear story in the beginning 20-30% of the game, while the rest was go anywhere do anything. Especially after getting the airship. In Final Fantasy, everyone knew that once you got the airship you could go anywhere, as

It reminds me of Xeno Gears, to be honest. It sounds like they were pressured by time constraints, I would posit.

Yeah, that’s what made the original FF games so nice to play. It guided you through the first portion of the story, then set you free to play and have fun.
