I purchased the Japanese release in Hong Kong and played through half of SD3 with a translation guide (plus enough Japanese knowledge to wing it). Honestly, I prefer SD2 but will be purchasing the English release of this trilogy solely to support future translation efforts by Nintendo (i.e. Mother 3).
