I recently bought a Kindle fire HD, my main reason for getting it was I definitely wanted somthing in color for my comic reading husband. We still have an older Kindle but it doesn’t get used much. The main reason I bought the HD though was because of the way Amazon offered it to me. I’ve been a prime member pretty

I don’t want health insurance, I want health care. I’m sure most people want health care. How about we stop trying to make private companies insure us, and just set up a system where everyone can get health care?

This looks good, but it would be one step better if there were mobile apps.

I purchased our most recent router, an Netgear AC1450 from flashrouters, it came with DD-WRT already installed. I couldn’t be happier with my choice. Our household has 2 desktops, one home server, 2 laptops, 3 phones and a tablet and it works very nicely for us.

The thing that bothers me about this is that some of those mentioned “symptoms” (brain fog, depression, difficulty sleeping, weight gain/loss, Irregular periods) can be related the actual conditions of both Graves Disease & Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis and dealing with doctors to treat both can be like running a gauntlet

Credit Karma is the best free service I know of to help in the credit building department. My Hubby and I have been using it to help us get our stuff on track.

I’m 41 years old, and looking to go to college for the first time. I was just awarded Financial aid but I’m still trying to decide if I want to accept it or not. What Questions should I be asking before deciding.

I used feedly for a while but now I’m hosting my own Tiny Tiny RSS. I like it better I believe.

You also don’t need to flatten (unless you’re trying to save room)

Coke Makes a turkey very Juicy. Every year I use a mixture of butter and poured straight outta the 2-liter coke....and it’s always juicy.

I really hate the new layout, it sucks on a big wide screen monitor. I also miss the list and seeing the descriptions of what my “applets” do right there on the screen.

Thank you for saying I’m retarded for doing something that likely saved my life...maybe now I can tell my doctor how stupid I was for quitting smoking and switching to vaping, even though she is thrilled with the upturn in my overall health

What about flavored alcohol and condoms? Using your logic they are clearly using those flavors to market to children as well.

By far the easiest diet I’ve ever found to follow, is the Ketogenic diet. Because you eat more fat on it, you tend to not be as hungry so you naturally eat less. I’m not a Keto fan boy, and I’m not saying that works for everyone, I’m just saying that for me it was definitely the easiest for me to adhere too.

Crashplan (cloud) is my secondary backup, I use crashplan to backup to a local N.A.S. as well.

Well owncloud seems to work better for our Android phones, and we also like having browser access if we need it to our files. Something btsync doesn’t offer.

I’ve tried each of these, but I ended up finally using a combination of Owncloud and bittorrent sync(usage dependent on what I’m syncing). The idea of trusting my stuff to a 3rd party just didn’t work for me especially when at one point Dropbox offered me a year of pro free because they had lost some of my stuff. The

For me and my family cord cutting was never so much about the price as it was about watching what we wanted, where we wanted, when we wanted.

I don’t understand why why we can’t use the feeling emoticons. There are a huge amount them, and how hard would it be to repurpose them?

Personally, in my house we use both. We have Kodi on our T.V.’s and Use plex for all our tablets, phones, and laptops. So we have cool customized library control at home and can still get to our media if we’re out. It works great for us. And we use the Trakt.tv plugins on both to keep our watched status’s in sync.
