Not overweight (yet), but still cute.

Why not adopt?

My favorite cheap meatless hamburger is TJ’s masala burgers on their Foccacini rolls. Four patties and four buns for about $7. You can get fancy and add their smoked sliced Gouda for $2.99 more. Add some lettuce, tomato, and onion and you’re done!

I second the David’s Bridal recommendation! I went to several high-end boutiques before I finally got frustrated and went to David’s. I found this dress for $250.

I stole mine from Martha Stewart. You too?

That sounds awful. Mr. Jnorman is getting a memorial tatoo in September at Stingray Body Art in Allston, MA. The artist, Josh, couldn’t have been nicer when we met him for a consultation last month. Mr. J has one small initial on his left arm right now. The new tatoo will be equivalent to a half sleeve on his right

Yeah. It looks like its out of our price range anyway. I’m just glad our condo allows dogs :/

$600 might be a little steep for us, but only because we’ll only have two small side yards. I could totally see using them if you have a bigger yard.

Not a disaster, but we did spend most of the night trying to keep one of Mr. Jnorman’s nieces from destroying our wedding cake. Won a small victory there, but she did photo bomb most of our cake cutting, which was fine by me:

We’re buying a condo in Watertown at the end of this month. I was thinking of hiring a landscaper to cut down the overgrown lawn, but now I really want to see how much it costs to bring these goats in. I wonder if our new upstairs neighbors would mind...

You just go on believing that all these people aren’t trying hard enough and aren’t good enough (even though they graduated) to get a job in the field, but you did because you’re just so much better than them.

I could care less about Pippa Middleton. I was only responding to your comment that my chosen major meant that I didn’t work hard and had family money, which is untrue on both counts. I come from a lower middle class family that felt education was important. My parents took out a second mortgage to cover what

People who major in crap like art history usually are unemployable dolts that live off family money anyway.

You clearly haven’t met my boss. She gushes over her desert hamster at every single one of our weekly one-on-ones.

I told Mr. Jnorman that I didn’t care if we got married and that I would prefer buying a house over a wedding. Of course that didn’t stop him from proposing five years in. When I told his parents that I was only prepared to pay for a small wedding with no more than 40 guests, they ponied up the money to pay for their

I’m also 5’2 and when I hit 130 my doctor told me to “lose a few pounds because my BMI was straddling the normal weight/overweight line.” I steamed internally because she’s my height and looked like she was pushing 150. Luckily work/house buying stress took care of those pesky extra pounds.

Agreed. I just think the author’s point would have come off a little less whiny had she spent more time pointing out that $40 isn’t expensive for a bottle of wine when looking at the industry as a whole. I was never much of a drinker and quit entirely a year ago, but when I did drink I could definitely taste a huge

No one has addressed this yet, so I will: a $40 bottle of wine is not an expensive bottle of wine.

I don’t have a lot of female friends, but I share a lot with the few that I do have. Considering that the author shares the same lifestyle as the women she was studying, it doesn’t seem impossible that they would feel comfortable sharing something like this with her.

Whoops, somehow my reply got cut off. That’s what I get for trying to do this from my phone.
