Man, you’re so smart, of course not one person out of all the people experiencing this issue have tried to fix it with simple remedies. Or have tried cleaning it after taking it apart.  They’ve all just sat around and complained without researching the problem.

Personally, I LOVE it. This is ridiculous beyond belief, and I could never have dreamt up such a thing.

One nation, under Iron Man, indivisible, now and till the hour of our death.

Keep in mind - someone decided this should exist. Someone actually followed through and made it. And someone decided it looked good enough to share.

I think the problem is calling Emmitt Till a “celebrity,” which carries a connotation of glamour and lightheartedness. If it had been a list of “important historical figures” I think the reaction would have been different.

Huh. Seems like the top at Treyarch were smart to not deny what was said in your report, unlike with how Bioware responded to your report of Anthem.

Yep...baseball being a potentially dangerous spectator sport is in no way new information, just as it isn’t new information that there are certain locations in ballparks where the risk of being hit by a ball is increased.

At the very least give the infant a glove and a fighting chance

Safety aside, from an enjoyment perspective, I don’t know why you would bring a 2-year-old child to a baseball game, it can’t possibly be fun for anyone involved. And if you can afford the lower deck, you can afford a sitter.

I appreciate that, but please do know that none of this would be possible without all of my talented, hard-working colleagues here at Kotaku. We are a team in so many ways, and none of these stories are single-person efforts, ever.

Another fantastic read. I have the utmost respect for you, Jason, you’re going to be remembered for being at the tip of the spear of the unionization of this garbage ass industry.

Wow. Thanks for sharing this.

I worked QA on Black Ops III at the El Segundo Activision location, placed by Volt. We were paid a base wage of $10/hour, and initially the hours were 8am-6pm Monday thru Saturday. Crunch time we worked 7am-7pm every single day of the week.

Great series of articles on these conditions. The snowball is probably gathering momentum as more and more employees realize you’re the guy to talk to.

Y'all motherfuckers need unions

I’ve been a programmer for years, a lead programmer for 1.5 years, and now a game designer for 1.5 years. It never ceases to amaze me how poorly QA are treated. :(

“Oregon Trail” doesn’t hold a candle to my childhood memories of dying of dysentery.

As I told my stepfather when he lamented my love of Tecmo Super Bowl back in the early 90s and started in with the “when I was your age” crap:
