And that's only the upper half of Jeremy Schaap. I imagine his lower body immobilized in a pulsating sea of cicada-moths, with these two the first to migrate north....

Is Ronaldo's barber a prophet of some sort? If you look closely, it appears that his 'do maps out the ball movement leading to the fateful equalizer yesterday.

You're hired!

You're right-I like how his focus isn't simply on the character's gender, but on the desire for the player to be the hero. You can tell that he has thought deeply about this (and can express this depth of thought in fewer words than I:))

Great interview, though I will say that perhaps a female lead isn't necessary, particularly if the series moves away from the "damsel in distress" trope in subsequent iterations. Incidentally, I know quite a few women who love playing the series and have no problem doing so as Link, so Aonuma must be doing something

And that's why video game reviews need scores:)

They didn't even need to mention Shovel Knight, which to me is a system-seller (I'm sure I'm alone in that sentiment, but still, it looks amazing).

Agreed, but the frequency of this stuff is several order of magnitude higher in soccer. I personally abhor the practice in all sports....

Your point is well taken, and esp. in basketball it's starting to get out of hand. But at least the bball refs and the league are aware of it, and are taking baby steps to stem the tide of flopping. I am really starting to enjoy soccer, but man if these flops aren't just the worst, least sportsmanlike bs.

So the center of the universe will be where the likelihood of meeting others (or their corpses) will be greatest....

Ditto that; sounds amazing. Just having but a glimmer of a chance of meeting someone else would make that actual encounter awesome.

I'm glad you enjoyed the show.

Let's not get sales numbers confused with quality, or lack thereof. I personally didn't find Bayonetta enthralling, but its gameplay out DMC'd DMC. Vanquish took rote 3rd-person shooters (I'm looking at earth-toned GoW sequels and knock-offs) and made them look archaic. Anarchy Reigns bombed at retail, but is a

I'm waiting for the inevitable Call of Duty/Skylanders crossover. Tell me you wouldn't buy a Kevin Spacey action figure that comes to life in your tv....

I believe you need to Hide to earn that key.

I will join the cult anyday:)

I love your game arithmetic! I agree with on pretty much every point except...it's worth every cent of full price (and now bargain price) because it follows the old-school model of less-but-so-damn-enjoyable-that-you-want-to-play-it-again-and-again-and-hyphenate-everything-you-type content.

It is quite a shock to the system to see Nintendo offering season passes, but if anyone's been paying attention (and I know Kotaku has), they will see that Nintendo has de-fanged microtransactions and free-to-play in one fell swoop w/Rusty's Real Deal baseball.

Ummm...if Operation Rainfall worked, how about a pre-emptive campaign? I dub it "Operation Partly Cloudy with a 40% chance of Rain".

Haha-sooo true. I see more Crystalis and Secret of Mana in this one than I do Zelda, but I've been trying to stay spoiler-free as per my policy with all exciting upcoming games...
