Smulders was great as Dex and the show kind of wasted/underplayed that in its first season and now it’s gone and can’t fix it. Extremely frustrating.

makes sense we got the Danvers sisters hug but another 10 seconds for the rest of the team to dogpile would’ve been cool.

Her delivery of “That’s my family” made me instantly tear up. These past few seasons have been building up the found family nature of the Super Friends, and it’s a lovely button to see Kara instinctively refer to the team as her family, rather than just her friends.

I think it’s less that beef is disallowed and more that animals for halal meat have to be slaughtered in a certain way- there are some Arab-owned places near me that specifically advertise their meats are halal. butchery method mattering might also be true of kosher meats, idk.

They are pretty consistent about Zari not drinking, so I was expecting somebody to mention/ask about the burgers.

-They kind of lost the plot in the second ep. The zoo people don’t do much interesting, and Cat just kind of deciding to quit her job and form her own very serious media empire, in 2009, without any kind of scoop to pave her way, is the dumbest form of throwing it in there.

it was great, but it also really made me want a short LoT/Supergirl crossover that we can’t have (much like Supergirl’s time-travel did). I feel like Ava and Alex’s bureaucratic sides would really appreciate working together.

If the seasons were lined up a little differently, the missing leaders could’ve been a great way to send Dreamer and Brainy to Legends- Alex calls the Waverider for help getting Kara back, they fuck up time for the better, Dreamer and Brainy return the favor by joining the Waverider to get Sara back in the Supergirl…
