-Kara breaking the mirror to keep Nyxly from doing horrible things to Earth, knowing that it’s Kara’s best way home, reminded me of Giles saying “it has to be [better]” and destroying the Wishverse in Buffy. Great Kara moment, both in choosing the potential self-sacrifice and believing she’ll find a better way.

I didn’t think anything in this episode made it worse than the first two did. Honestly I’m just going to pretend the Kelly-doesn’t-know/told-her-offscreen sequence didn’t happen, which I already have practice doing from the storyline with Kara’s mom.

I’m afraid she’s going to turn into a menace who used Kara to get to Earth, but she’s been fun so far.

I don’t need a finale where they hang up the cape, but I would like some kind of closure (please kill Lex). Hard approve of the occasional crossover return after the series.

It’s amazing what subtracting other people’s adventures at Catco and courtroom antics does for a superhero show with a killer lead. Surprised I didn’t miss Nia more, though. Maybe we’ll see a lot of her next week.
