That engine bay needs more shiplap.

I’ve been writing databases/software for more than two decades. The only way to herd the cats that are software developers is to generate most of the code for them. That is what I do. I design and build a database and then generate all the stored procedures, middle tier objects, controllers (API/MVC/Angular) and

As a software test engineer, I have to try to break Nobody’s software before the customer uses it. It includes all the ways (that I can dream up) that end-users can be dumb.
In no way do I want to be the person that creates tests for all the ways in which a person in a driverless car can be dumb.

I call his lolololol

I’ve been working as a software engineer for 9 years now. I’ve worked at 3 different companies and on at least 5 or 6 enterprise level products. Every one has been a jumbled together mess at one level or another - software starting with good intentions and then getting smacked with the reality of deadlines and “I know

The point of GMC is identical to the point any other rebranded “luxury” division such as: Cadillac, Lexus, Acura, Lincoln, Infiniti, etc....  larger profit margins.

The point of GMC is to make even more profit.  There’s not much difference, sometimes there’s options that don’t come on the Chevys, but swapping badges is a quick way for GM to make a couple grand more.  Also to give the Buick/Cadillac dealers trucks and SUVs to sell.

“The sweet potato has no marshmallows!”

Missed opportunity! With the sweet potato subplot this episode could have had a Marshmallow cameo.

Of course “the people who like you really like you” is the perfect encapsulation of Bob’s Burgers fandom. The show has never had the cachet or the popularity of the Simpsons or Family Guy but it’s been consistently great. And the fans freakin’ love it.

I firmly believe that people complain about Tesla largely because Tesla gives them something to complain about.

Yesterday’s update said they produced 77,100 vehicles, but were only able to deliver “approximately 63,000” during Q1. If its Q4 guidance said 10,000 fewer than they could sell, the results are exactly the opposite, making the news, well, newsworthy.

They made significantly more cars than they could deliver. Also,

Not everything has to be a damn contest.

What benefit is there to cheating at golf?

I guess my issue with Tesla, or rather Elon Musk, simply lies in the fact that he habitually over promises and under delivers. I don’t trust people who do that, and it shows in the near constant quality control issues that Tesla seems to have. Maybe I’m seeing sensationalized examples but if I’m expected to pay 5

You’re saying that people that chose to buy something like that thing more than people that haven’t?

Already been posted. In LA (Tesla’s #1 market) it’s irrefutably the case... the grid’s only getting dirtier, the HoV lanes (with, you know, actual transit vehicles) moving slower.

Someone described as the “hardest working American” shouldn’t have so much time to be on social media. There are PR people, customers, reviewers, etc., to promote your product.

Similarly, Tesla fans are pretty much the source of most of my negative feelings towards Tesla.

They “hit” 5000 Model 3s/week in 2Q18. Now they’re barely hitting that number for all their cars combined.
