I’m going to respectfully disagree with the second half of your response. Asserting that you can essentially call a 911 complainant a dumbass (in nicer words) is sort of indicative of someone who isn’t in a profession where everyone who doesn’t get the answer they want makes a civilian complaint about you.

There’s no such thing as a “false call” unless the caller deliberately lied about the nature of what’s going on.

I’ve been throwing this at everybody who makes those goddamn arguments in my earshot lately

Yeah, that’s not true.

Naw. Buy a Honda Fit instead.

4WD drive is pointless in the snow without snow tires.

It took me a while to figure it out during my first attempt at college, but when upper-middle-class people say, “I can’t afford to spend,” they usually mean, “I don’t like the idea of spending.”

All he saw was the wind farm off the coast of his golf resort.

Good, then we will be able to refocus our security concerns to our true enemy, Canada.

I agree.  A real troll knows how to start sane and then gradually ramp up the crazy.  This gal needs to up her subtlety game.

My favorite is pricing a car by checking multiple sources and setting it at a reasonable level and getting called an idiot for the price by a guy that can’t bother to check his grammar and spelling.

2/10. Would not troll again.

Here’s the secret - They are. They’re just not the all-singing-all-dancing cavalcade of fuck-ups that Tesla is. Their greatest defense is meeting expectations, on time, safely, and generally being boring to report about.
What, you think they’re going to make headlines with “Ford makes 1500 cars in Dearborn plant,

They should probably offer it with a vinyl graphic across the bottom of the doors

American Express already made one. It is the Centurian card.

There’s a difference between a flop and going into something knowing that it’s going to be unprofitable. The EV-1 is the only one remotely close, but that was designed from the onset to be a technology development program.

That tells you something: That making the cars Tesla makes isn’t easy, it was a monumental effort to get these cars off the ground and furthermore- they did it YEARS before anyone else.

she’ll have to get in line behind CBC Radio’s Carol Off.  Carol seems to enjoy makin politicians look like 100% complete jerks on the air.
