I don't see a discrepancy. They said "nobody would appear for the foreseeable future", and the farthest ahead they can see is about half a day.

Played a really long game of BSG over the weekend. We tried out the New Caprica expansion, and it turned out to be a disaster. By the end, there were 3 humans & 3 cylons, and the cylon leader needed the cylons to win. So the balance was so far out of whack that it was impossible for the humans to win. We declared

The indy theatre in my town always puts on the Oscar-nominated shorts and Oscar-nominated animated shorts right around this time. The animated shorts are almost always very entertaining.
