You make me wish I had 3 hands.
You make me wish I had 3 hands.
wtf are you talking about? Nobody's trying to censor dissent, they're trying to stop fake fucking news from proliferating.
What "truths"?
Hate to break it to you, but the kind of stuff O'Neal is saying is EXACTLY the kind of stuff the people on Breitbart say sincerely.
Joke's on you, his degree is from Trump University.
I shared this quote on my FB wall on 9/7: "Feels like a combination of Christmas Eve and the day before major, possibly life-threatening surgery."
I called time-of-death around midnight the next night and went to bed.
Meanwhile, in the real world
And you just *know* right-wingers are going to proclaim election hacking as a "fake story" because there won't be evidence that voting machines themselves were hacked. THAT'S NOT THE POINT!
No one's said it yet, so I'll cast a vote for Christmas
Vacation. I'd also agree with the mentions of Scrooged, Die Hard, and Trading Places, though the latter is a little more New Year's than Christmas.
You mean it wasn't before?
Thanks. This orchestra is really good, to the point where I question how on earth I get invited to play with them. I guess it's tough to find percussionists willing to play chamber orchestra music.

A) Not bad, a bit slow. Been on a new project and am feeling less useful than usual because there's so much I don't know, after spending years as the de facto expert on my previous project.
B) Not really. I've never been much of a goal setter.
C) Xmas at my parents' house, then a friend & her daughter are coming up to…
The Pas de Deux was amazing to play in the orchestra. I couldn't see what the pair of dancers was doing, but the orchestra itself was magical.
Percussion. For Nutcracker I was mostly playing timpani, with a little gong, cymbal, and triangle sprinkled in.
One of the downsides of being in the orchestra is that I wasn't actually able to see the dancers. Well, if I sat up tall in my car, I could see the top halves of them when they were near the front of the stage. But that's about it. And 2/3 of the time, I was busy playing anyway.
I was in a pit orchestra this past weekend for 4 performances of The Nutcracker. First time I've ever done a pit orchestra. It went pretty well, though I could've used a little more rehearsal time (i.e. more than 2 rehearsals) before the first show. By the second show, I had things well in hand.
Now I have about a…
Yeah, the EC isn't saving us from this nightmare. Way too many people need to flip votes, and I just don't see all the bluster over "EC members need to see the intelligence reports concerning Russian hacking" amounting to much.
