I do wonder how much more of a progressive government we'd have if voting were compulsory like it is in a couple countries.

Geez, thanks for pointing out my recent weight gain.

Hey, I may be ugly and hate-filled, but… what was the third thing?

In other, more clearly "Hooray" news, I have concerts this weekend! 2 of the ensembles I play in have concerts Friday night and Saturday night. I have some really kick-ass timpani parts on contemporary wind pieces Friday, and a very cool timpani part (last mvt of Beethoven 5th) and a cool chimes part (last mvt of

What? I just… what?

Not sure if this belongs in Hooray or Fuck, probably a bit of both. In last week's TI (or do we call it RD now?), I mentioned my dad was in a bad car accident last Tuesday. 3 broken ribs, a fractured vertebra, and lots of bruising, swelling, cuts, and abrasions.

It can be two things.

Hey, don't blame The Place They Throw Batteries at Santa Claus — Philly voted convincingly for Clinton. It's the -tucky part of Pennsyltucky that won the state for Trump.

To be gender-neutral, I assume.

No, he was wesen. Watch the opening credits scenes in Grimm.

Sounds like the best thing that could've happened to Bio-Dome

Fuck car accidents. My dad hit a patch of ice yesterday afternoon and wound up involved in a 3-car crash at fairly high speed. 3 broken ribs and a spinal column fracture, but fortunately no surgery, and he was able to get around with a walker a little bit this morning.

You mean Garfield wasn't a biopic about our 20th President?

I liked Into the Woods, though not particularly because of him.
