It’s like a tractor beam of shit.
It’s like a tractor beam of shit.
I like that it's up by the time I get up in the morning. Gives me a chance to set my DVR for something that I otherwise didn't know was coming on.
Agreed. That's why I described it as 'meh' rather than saying I didn't like it. It was a fine episode, just not up to the level I've come to expect from PoI. That's as much a tribute to the general quality of the show as anything else.
Oh crap, you're right! I forgot the MMA fighter girl & was thinking back to the hacker episode from a couple weeks ago. She's definitely the hitter.
Yeah, I must have been doing it wrong (except for the binge drinking).
This was the most meh I've felt about a PoI episode in a long time.
And that's how Nixon's head got paired with Agnew's body.
Only 1 of the scenario cards is intended to be played solo, but many of the others can. Also, if you go on BGG, folks have concocted their own scenarios for both solo and non-solo play (and in some cases, cooperative play, which wasn't even the intent of the game).
I actually got the Firefly game for Christmas. I have yet to play it with other people, but you can play it as a solo variant. It's very complicated, and you'll spend a good long time explaining the game to anyone who hasn't played it. But it seems solid in terms of gameplay, and thematically it fits really well…
Yeah, the BSG board game is really good, but brace yourself for a really long game.
I've never seen the Captain America movies (so I didn't really have expectations one way or the other), but I decided to watch this anyway. I'm really glad I did.
True, but I'm confident Samaritan will still be able to get something useful off it.
The way they framed Claire & that phone, I got the impression Claire had developed a Samaritan jammer for her phone. In that case, it's a fantastic tool for the Machine team to recover (might even make up for the loss of Harold's laptop).
It's about ethics in movie montage journalism.
I liked this episode quite a bit. I don't get where the Claire hatred is coming from. She's young, idealistic, and naive. Why should she take Harold at his word when all she's seen of Samaritan is the good that it's done? It wasn't until the very end of the episode when she's talking to Greer that she started…
I have the DVD box set of the whole series. It's fantastic seeing tiny clues in S1 of what's to come.
We need more shows featuring male and female partners whose bond is composed of friendship and loyalty, not "will they/won't they" tension.
Based on the color scheme, I actually thought that one was Green Lantern.
How many tickles does it take to make an octopus laugh?
First created this username back in college for playing online games along with creating an AIM screen name. The 99 is my college graduation year. I forget where the MrPlow part came from…
