Yes. I love my Focus ST. But... Don’t buy an ST1.

I was getting quoted in the $17k range for leftover 2017 base model Focus STs. How is this $16k!?!
How many cycles does it have?
My first car was a 1991 Dynasty, Crystal Edition. 3.3L motor. Yes, of course it was a hand me down from my grandmother.
So with all the requests for Golf Rs and GTIs, did any make the leap over to the Focus ST or RS? Seems like, at least later in the year, there were huge deals to be had on those. I know I scored big on my ST.
My wife had always wondered why they have tiger print curtains in their house. That would be like human skin colored/patterned curtains.... Creepy.
So my Eco-boost 4cyl should be 2.0L? And it is! Yay!

A Ford fanatic that wanted a Chevy? That’s just as crazy as a Chevy fanatic wanting a Ford. Oh wait, that’s me, this past week.
Penn Jillette mentioned on his podcast this week that he was heading over to England to do a lap in a reasonably priced car for Grand Tour (or at least he thought it was Grand Tour). Wonder if they are able to essentially do the same setup as Top Gear for season 2?
A few years back, I sold off my wife’s Saab. It was getting up there in miles, and it wasn’t adequate for our 2 year old. She had that car longer than most of the cars before it. She loved it. We had so many memories in that car. Our son was brought home in it. She was just coming home when the new owner (who was…
To be absolutely honest, while the gas mileage is a factor for my commute, I’m also trying to do two or three other things along with it: lower the mileage on my wife’s lease, which is taking up miles faster than I’d like to, lower the yearly mileage on our Silverado, because I want that to last, and cut down our…
I love how the responses range from “Sure you can get 30mpg” from some and “I have one and get 22 max”.
If only. I’m a diehard GM loyalist, but I need something smaller and better on gas for my new, longer, commute. My Silverado just isn’t cutting it. I think I see a Focus ST in my future. The deals on those seem to be pretty good right now.
The Bolt is to Tesla Fans what any top shelf Android phone is to an iPhone user.
I’m having such a hard time getting a price without sitting down at the dealership. No one wants to converse via email or phone anymore. Everyone just wantsme to come in, regardless of what I tell them. Hell, just on Sunday I wanted a number on a car at the dealership and they wouldn’t tell me anything until I brought…
My personal favorite was the group of people that came up with Cat & Mouse in Project Gotham Racing 2. The physics worked out just right that playing that unofficial mode on Xbox live was some of the best online gameplay I’ve ever experienced. They made it an official mode in PGR3, but it was never the same.
First - Brake Job on a 225k mile 2004 GMC Canyon. You have to pull the whole hub to replace the rotors from the back side. After 5 years of rust around the opening, it took approximately 6 hours to break both of the fronts loose and get the job done. Second - Spark Plugs on a 1997 Camaro. NEVER. AGAIN.
