Pibbs says once you go Swede

A buddy of mine traded his Maxima in for a Frontier a couple months ago. I believe it was because he got a screaming deal on it.

No. No I don’t.

If I didn’t already have a third funmobile and a just purchased Camper, maybe, just maybe, I could convince the wife. But currently, I’d be living in that camper if this showed up.

I’m going to be honest...I like this thing. I really like the stock Saab Sonnet, but this speaks to me. Get rid of those craptacular lights in the front grille, knock a grand off and we’re talking NP territory.

Last two cars my wife and I bought from a dealer were off-lease Saabs. Her car had been in two very minor accidents, and mine had a clear report but the front bumper had been repaired poorly and the bottom engine cover plastic had been smashed to bits. I take care of rental cars far better than these people had taken

I’m glad I reread the article about the Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon catching fire. I just bought a new resistor and plug for my fan control this morning.

I just don’t see this working out. The 9-3 was aging when Saab went under, and trying to continue to reuse the same platform just doesn’t make any sense.

1. Spaceball.

I don’t think you are stupid, and I don’t wish any harm on you. But my tastes as an American are just...different. When I get behind the wheel of my weekend car, I want a stupid grin on my face that is hard to hide. The F-Body Trans Am (post 98’ facelift) gives me that.

I bought my 944 with the same issue. Check the crank sensor. They are absolute crap.

Why not a Saab? Maybe a classic 900 or 99? Or a Sonett! That would be entertaining..

To enable this second map, the driver pressed an umarked button on the dash.

I’ve thought about a new Volt when the time comes for a new car, but I’m just far enough from work for my daily commute to be outside of the electric only range. That and I end up driving my personal cars a TON for work, so I’d probably fill up a lot more than the average Volt driver.

Thank you for this. Perfect timing for me, considering I just sold two Saabs in the past three weeks. And I was incredibly honest in the ads, but I was still worried one of the new owners might try and come back at me for something stupid. Not that there was anything wrong with either car when I sold it, just because

Now that’s a list of cars I can drool about...

Revision - I was thinking of the Firehawk when I mentioned the Trans Am as possibly being more powerful than the SS. I stand corrected.

My father has a 2012 ZL1. I can forgive every issue the new Camaro has for the rumble that thing makes.

I laugh because maybe I’m just attracted to those types of cars. I’ve always loved the Delorean despite its reputation, and nearly owned one at one point.

Easy there buddy, I’m not against the Camaro in anyway. I’ve had a V6 of each, a 2000 Firebird and a 1997 Camaro convertible. My opinion and preference changed in the 97/98 facelifts. Before 98 - Camaro. After - Firebird/TA.

From someone that has owned two F-Body cars, I can confirm. I’ve spent a fair amount of time replacing those stupid window motors. Try making them work at all in a northeast winter with ice on the windows.
