@Solid2TheSnake: There are, in a way, too many games already, to the point of hurting sales of games that might otherwise have a larger audience. The problem is that there is only so much time in the year. It would be good if the seasonal release schedule became more regularized and games didn't have to fight for

Game Dev Story is the most fun/addictive iOS game ever created if you're into simulations where you can built your own gaming empire. Spent about 6 hours playing that yesterday. Proud to announce Pipptech got through year 20 having sold just shy of 250 million games. Let's just say that hiring "Walt Sidney" and

I'm rooting for the Giants, though it's hard to see it coming to fruition without continued pitching dominance and more offense. Even if they can get by the wrecking crew that is the Phillies, they have to deal with the Yankees or Rangers, both heavy on the offense. At least NL gets home field advantage for once...

@deuxhero: But it's not just that, in this particular situation, the peer reviewers were basically being spat at as an intro. A cash grab is one thing, but lack of respect for those in the same field, vying for the same money, isn't going to go over well. I wonder, how many of the people that regularly voted this

@Geist002: The money is one thing, but there is craftsmanship put into a lot of major dev games as well, and work by a lot of people to make a game. J-Force was condescending while trying to pass off a game that took most likely small amounts of effort to create.

@slash000: Yup, that was the line that got me too. It shows a lack of tact or basic respect. He was joking, and some would find it funny, but it doesn't seem based on the highlighting that Totilo made that he found it to be funny, or more so appropriate under the circumstances. (If you're reading this Sir Stephen, did

@Paradox me: Technological changes are a funny process for the media and tech industries. Their is that urge to capitalize on new advances and capture a market early on, even knowing that prices of goods will be prohibitive. From audio CDs to CD-ROMs to DVDs, and still with HDTVs (which are

Incredible! Now to use this technology for the greater good by superimposing Mario games over ordinary objects and drawing mustaches on innocent bystanders!

@freedomweasel: Heh, suppose that counts then. Now if only the game made funnel cakes and did the player's taxes, it would have everything.

Eghads! I'm not a fan of ultra-strict timetables for release; sometimes a delay makes a vast improvement in a game that needs some more polish. But this is getting ridiculous. Sony had better hope lots of people are getting the Move this holiday...

@dowingba: If that isn't one of the cars, send it back!

@Klausaidon: Master System totally got an invite, man. Virtual Boy went blind awhile ago and was too stubborn to get a seeing eye dog, so he just sits in his apartment. It's a sad story. :(

@idontcare444: It's okay, half the stuff I say is embarrassing. The other half is all Thoreau.

Intellivision! Welcome to the party!

@MutatedWaffle: Dangit, I read all the way down here to see that my idea was taken. Kudos. Perhaps I shall nominate this... :eats a Saltine: :eats another Saltine: ...perhaps...

@Canon7D-Fanboy: This is one case where I'm all for a company sending a cease and desist order. Political ad using a mascot video game character? Not cool, Zeus, not cool.

This image reflects an accurate reaction.

@GunFlame: If all else fails, use fire: They can afford it, but it hurts. Take into account development time and marketing, and the loss of money is most likely larger than just the lost sales of the game. It's also a hit to the company's credibility. Delaying a game indefinitely almost a week before release? That

@Covenant: Aye. It's hard not to look at EA after this and not see some of the in house development as a bit uncoordinated. In fact, many of the best franchises are coming from the EA Partners program at this point. Not that they don't make some great games in-house at EA, it's just troubling that a debacle of this
