@ARYXANDRE: Those are my thoughts, too. Discretionary: I worked at Treyarch on WaW, though in a tester's role. That game gets a lot of flack but is quite good for being another WWII game. The studio doesn't get enough credit, possibly from hit-or-miss efforts constrained by bad timeframes for release. Then again,

@Hoagie_one: I'm more inclined to think the twist is the man being tortured is Price all along, and you relive his past exploits. The big reveal of who it is might come right near the end of the game. I'm kind of a dreamer, because that would, indeed, be cool.

@Killer Toilet: I actually thought that first MW2 trailer and this one were brilliant. If you pay attention, especially with pausing frames, you'll find a lot of subtle hints. I actually learned more about the respective games from both of these trailers without seeing much at all than most teaser trailers give away,

The leaked locales interested me. This has me intrigued, especially the prospect of an SR-71 being involved. Those things always looked freaky in videos.

@Indigen: Bummer. Haven't played a Mechwarrior since 3. But I can't wait to give it a go.

@app134: Strange Table Person, I've been saying "con sarnit" since your pappy was being coddled on his mommy's knee! Also running with the Simpsons reference. :D

@AoE: Especially when that legendary game is incredibly deep, intricate... and FREEEE!

@Nexus6: I was debating whether to make the download, but con sarnit, ya "sold" me with this!

@mindsale: I played all of them, sir or madam. :-)

@reklisniss: I agree. However, it has never appeared much like Activision was giving IW that option, leveraging bonuses from CoD4, strong arming them consistently to make the games they wanted, basically creating a repeating process of stagnation and attaching a chain to their future. This is the danger of dealing

@MrSnuffles: Yes, actually exactly. It was done, after some initial fuss, amicably. That is where MS and Activision differ, is that while Activision will happily stifle creativity and make following orders in terms of game releases so strict as to engender a never-ending cycle of deals, Microsoft was willing to see

@Dwindle: Yeah, no, it's pretty torturous at times. That being said, people need to earn money, and they do pay the bills for a lot of people. I used to be one of them! And, as far as in-house working conditions, it isn't necessarily terrible. It is more the company's restrictiveness and tendency to pull off total

@MrSnuffles: Bungie agreed to continue making Halo franchise games for a time and then relinquish the franchise to Microsoft.

Hmmm... Cuba and Vietnam, ey? Wonder how this will be portrayed, because those didn't go so well for the US. But the idea of under cover Cold War missions is intriguing. Series qualms at this point or not, you have to give it that much.

That sounds damn, damn amazing. Alucard, back at last! Wonder what type of time/space vortex they are going to pull this one off with. o_O

"These two things are completely unrelated."

Now playing

It's made for one being and one being alone.

5.25", now that was where it was at. Booting up an Apple IIGS that had no hard drive, taking five minutes to do so... those were the days.
