Yeah, that scene was perfect.
Yeah, that scene was perfect.
I like that scene. One dog goes one way, the other goes the other way, and this guy’s like ‘Whattaya want from me?’
It’s a great and very memorable scene in a film packed with them. I’m not Italian, but my Grandmother on my Mom’s side was a short, silver haired little Portuguese woman and you’re dead on in that’s what she would have done as well.
Way too hard to parse what’s true or not
Not really complaining, but it would have been nice to separate the movies from TV shows.
When it comes to bad divorces, that’s the best thing to do. Way too hard to parse what’s true or not, most of the time.
“The screen test also allowed Scorsese to keep in a scene studio executives were urging him to cut. In it, the gangsters sit with DeVito’s mother, who is played by Scorsese’s real mom Catherine, as Batts bleeds out in the trunk.”
That sounds like a solid theory. I like it and it makes a lot of sense.
Outside of the twist at the end—which I’m curious to see how it plays out with a third personality—I loved the team coming together aspect of Price joining Elliot, Darlene, and Mr. Robot.
This was a nice capper for Jesse, and a perfect format for it. It would have been anticlimactic in Breaking Bad proper (that was Walt’s story to end) but having some closure on Jesse is good for the character and also fan service without being egregiously unnecessary. Although it has a lot of the “Jesse torture porn”…
First... RIP Robert Forster
Jerry... show me the evidence!
You can have a better time at a Franciscan Monk monastery, than at most modern day colleges.
Maron showing yet again that he gets it. It’s good to see that from someone who is not only middle aged, but doing excellent work on GLOW and with his podcast.

I did a double take and thought it was just me and it was someone that looked like her. Thanks for the confirmation and I had no idea Emily was married to Sam Esmail.
The cognitive dissonance we get watching a masterpiece like this borders on the unbelievable. Yes, these are not good people, yet the countless times I’ve watched I & II, I’m always pulling for the Corleone family, as we all do.
I’m psyched for this, and I’m glad Esmail and company got to end this on the terms they wanted. BD Wong’s White Rose has become positioned as the ultimate big bad, and from what we know it looks like Elliot and Mr. Robot will be teaming up to take White Rose on directly.
Yeah, Duvall brings a soulfulness to his performance that really elevates the movie. This aspect - the richness and variety of the performances - really elevates the movie. I will always remember the last two scenes of Duvall in Godfather II - Hagen ends up providing the last emotional response to Michael in the…
Picking up Mr. Robot was the best decision I have ever made. I am truly in love with Sam Esmail’s vision for television with both Mr. Robot and Homecoming (Which I am angry at Beyonce for stealing Sam’s Thunder!)
